Description
九、發明說明: 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明係相關於一種背光模組,特別是指一種能輕易 進行組裝之背光模組。 【先前技術】 現今’液晶顯示器已普遍在各種資訊顯示裝置使用, 其主要結構可分成液晶面板與背光模組兩大部分,液晶面 板大略包括ITO導電玻璃基板、液晶層、配向膜、彩色滤 光板、偏光片等元件;背光模組主要包括光源、導光板、 稜鏡片、擴散板與反射片及各式各樣之光學膜,藉由背光 模組提供液晶面板光源,以達到資訊顯示之目的。液晶顯 示器產品整體的表現受到所有内部元件的交互影響,其中 背光模組在螢幕亮度、均勻度、對比與視角上扮演了重要 角色。 而在背光模組中’現今所採用的光源包括了冷陰極螢 光燈管(Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp; CCFL)、外置電極 螢光燈管(External Electrode Fluorescent Lamp ; EEFL)或發 光一極體(Light Emitted Diode ; LED)。其中發光二極體是 由半導體材料所製成之發光元件,元件具有兩個電極端 子’在端子間施加電麼,經由電子電洞之結合將能量以光 的形式激發釋出’其具有體積小、壽命長、低驅動電壓、 耗電量低、耐震性佳等優點,因此越來越受到重視。 而在背光模組中,通常設有一驅動電路板,用來控制 其中光源的電源供應,由於此驅動電路板會發出高溫,為 5 了減少驅動電路板對液晶顯示器的影響,因此驅動電路板 般皆没置於背光模組的背部’也因此’驅動電路板與背 光模組中的光源尚需透過各式連接線加以連接。 然而,利用連接線加以連接之方式,在實務中,除了 有接線複雜,不易組裝的問題外,更有連接線不易固定, 容易糾結的理線問題。 更者’由於目前發光二極體供應商所提供的發光二極 體燈泡或發光二極體模組種類眾多,使得發光二極體在背 光模組的運用設計上,較為複雜。當設計者在運用此些種 類繁複的發光二極體模組時,尚需考慮其各自的連接線走 線方式,而變得更加複雜,而不同的連接線固定方式亦增 加了組裝難度。 曰 因此’如何有效解決前述之理線問題,並同時提高液 晶顯示器之組裝效率,係為熟悉此項技藝者所致力之方向。 【發明内容】 為此,本發明提出一種背光模組,包括一發光二極體 電路板、一發光二極體以及一驅動電路板。 發光一極體電路板,具有一第一表面以及一第二表 面’該第二表面上設置一第一連接頭(Connector)。 發光二極體’嵌入於該發光二極體電路板中,與該第 一連接頭電性連接。 驅動電路板,具有一第二連接頭,該第二連接頭可與 該第一連接頭結合。 一 其中,第一連接頭與第二連接頭,互為公母配合,亦 即若一為公端,另一即為母端,使兩者能夠相互嵌合。 藉由第一連接頭與第二連接頭的相互嵌合,進而使驅 動電路板與發光二極體電路板電性連接,以驅動電路板驅 動發光一極體電路板上的發光二極體。如此一來,不需使 用連接線,免除了理線的困擾,又增加了背光模組中可供 利用的空間,對設計者來說,更加簡便外,又大幅增加了 設計彈性。 為使本發明之優點及精神能更進一步的被揭示,茲配 合圖式作一詳細說明如後。 【實施方式】 請參閱第一A圖,其係分別為本發明所揭露之背光模 組之一較佳實施例之側視示意圖。第一B圖,為第一a圖 中主要元件的分解示意圖。在本實施例中,背光模組1包 括一背板10、一發光二極體電路板11、一發光二極體12 以及一驅動電路板13。 背板lO(backbezel) ’係可以鋁材、塑料或各式材質所 製成,且週緣具有側壁,而形成一淺槽般的容置空間,而 在一般情況中,背光模組又具有一框架(frame)14,可與背 板10相組裝,而可收納容置諸如發光二極體電路板U、 發光二極體12’或是其他的光學元件(如擴散板、反射片) 於其中。並且,在本實施例中,背板10更具有一貫通背板 將發光一極體電路板u之第一連接頭113穿出背板之 通孔101後’將發光二極體電路板11 S1定在背板10上。 依據第一連接頭113的位置,定位驅動電路板13的位 置’使驅動電路板13之第二連翻⑶可以嵌人至第一連 接頭113中’電性連接驅動電路板13與縣二極體電路板 由上述步驟可知,本發明之背光敝在喊過程中, 極為簡便’僅驗據第—連接_位置,將驅動電路板的 ^二連接頭嵌人’即可完成购電路板之組裝。除了組裝 今易外’亦藉由第-連接頭顯示了驅動電路板應當組裝在 背板上的相對位置’而同時具有定位功能。 綜觀而言’本發明實具有長足之進步。而熟知本技術 更可在閱讀本說a轉及以上各實施例後,更加了解本發 月之精神及其所具有之各概賊功能運用。 以上所述係利用一較佳實施例以詳細說明本發明,其 ,非用以限制本發明之實施範圍,並且熟習該項技藝者皆 明瞭,適當做些微的修改仍不脫離本發明之精神及範圍。 【圖式簡單說明】 第A圖,係為本發明一較佳實施例之剖視圖。 第B圖,係為本發明一較佳實施例主要元件之立體分 解圖。 第-〜四圖’係為本發明中,發光二極體嵌人於發光二 極體電路板中,不同實施例之示意圖。 1321688 【主要元件符號說明】 1背光模組 10背板 11發光二極體電路板 12發光二極體 13驅動電路板 14框架 101通孔 111第一表面 112第二表面 113第一連接頭 121底座 122發光端 131第二連接頭 15導熱膜

1321688 十、申請專利範圍: h —種背光模組,包括·· 一背板,具有一通孔; 一發光二極體電路板,係裝設於該背板上,其具有一 第表面以及一第一表面,並且在該第二表面上設 有一第-連接頭,且該第-連接頭自該背板之通孔 穿出; 發光一極體’係焊接於該發光二極體電路板之第二 表面上,且其發光端露出於該第一表面外側;以及 -驅動電路板’設有_第二連接頭,該第二連接頭可 嵌合於該第一連接頭,以傳輸訊號至該發光二極體 電路板。 2. —種背光模組,包括: 一背板’具有广通孔; 一發光二極體電路板,設置於該背板上,具有一第一 表面以及一第二表面,該第二表面上設置一第一連 接頭,且該第一連接頭自該背板之通孔穿出; 發光一極體,設置於該發光二極體電路板,並且與 該第一連接頭電性連接;以及 一驅動電路板,具有一第二連接頭,該第二連接頭可 與該第一連接頭結合。 3. 如申請專利範圍第2項所述之背光模組,其中該發光二 極體電路板係具有一孔洞,該發光二極體係嵌入於該孔 13 洞内。 4·如申睛專利範圍第2項所述之背光模組,其巾該第一連 接頭係為一插座,自該發光二極體電路板之第二表面 外突出。 5·如申請專利範圍第2項所述之背光模組,其中該第二連 接頭係為一插頭,自該驅動電路板之表面向外突出。 6·如申請專利範圍第2項所述之背光模組,其中該背板可 以為材所製成。 7·如申請專利範圍第2項所述之背光模組,其中該背光模 組更具有一框架,與該背板組合,以容置該發光二極體 電路板及該發光二極體。 8·如申請專利範圍第2項所述之背光模組,其中該背板與 該發光二極體之間更設置有一導熱膜。 9. 一種背光模組,包括: 一發光二極體電路板,具有一第一表面以及一第二表 面’該第一表面上設置一第一連接頭; 一發光二極體,設置於該發光二極體電路板,並與該 第一連接頭電性連接;以及 一驅動電路板,具有一第二連接頭,該第二連接頭可 與該第一連接頭結合。 10. 如申請專利範圍第9項所述之背光模組,其中該發光 二極體電路板係具有一孔洞,該發光二極體係嵌入於該 孔洞内。 14 1321688 溝槽内 11.一如申凊專利範圍第9項所述之背光模組,其中該發光 二極體電路板係具有—溝槽,該發光二極體係設置於該 12. 一如巾請專利範圍第9項所述之背光模組,其中該發光 -極體電路祕具有二個次電路板,該舰二極體係設 置於該二個次電路板之間。
