Abstract

The present invention provides a connector, e.g. a connector connecting a male connector with a female connector. The male connector includes a first housing and a first connection terminal installed in the first housing. The female connector includes a second housing, a cylindrical second connection terminal installed in the second housing, and a wire connected to the second connection terminal. The first housing of the male connector is formed with a communication aperture in communication with the outside. The wire includes a core filament, a sheath tube covering the core filament, and a communication channel installed in the sheath tube and in communication with the two ends of the sheath tube. According to the present invention, the communication channel can be used to communicate with the interior of a waterproof box or the interior of the connector with the atmosphere. Thus, the internal pressure of the waterproof box can be maintained at or near the atmospheric pressure. Therefore, even if the internal pressure of the waterproof box fluctuates dramatically due to variations of temperature, the variation of the internal pressure of the waterproof box can be reduced, and the cracking of waterproof box can be prevented.
