Abstract

A fast input system of Chinese words includes a Chinese word search engine, a Chinese word input unit, a Chinese input interface, a keyboard mapping interface, an input register, a word database, and a word address interface. The present invention inputs Chinese characters via the Chinese input interface. When a user inputs Chinese, the keyboard mapping interface converts the Chinese into a word code. The word code is further transmitted to the Chinese word input unit and is forwarded to the Chinese word search engine for searching the word. The Chinese word search engine first compares the word code data at the word address interface. Then the comparison result is displayed on a computer screen by a list for user to choose. When user selects certain word, the word data in the word database are completely retrieved.
