498696 A7 --B7 五、發明說明(1 ) 〔發明之詳細說明〕 〔發明所屬的技術領域〕 (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 本發明有關電子音響機器、通信機器、電子機器所使 用的壓電發聲體及其製造方法。 〔背景技術〕 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 壓電發聲體係廣泛被利用爲簡易的電氣音響變換裝置 ’而尤其近年來多用在行動電話等領域。如第7圖(A) 之斷面所示,一般作成爲將壓電驅動板1 〇 〇貼在金屬振 動板1 1 0的構成。壓電材可用例如,壓電性陶瓷{以銷 酸鈦酸鉛(簡稱P Z T ),鈦酸鋇、锆酸鉛、鈦酸鉛等爲 主成份的陶瓷}。將如此壓電材例如形成爲圓板狀並進行 燒成’極化以製得壓電驅動板1 〇 〇。在壓電驅動板 1〇0之上面(或者在表面、背面)設置有驅動用之電極 1〇2。另一方面,形成金屬振動板1 1 〇的金屬可用例 如F e - N i系不銹鋼材料。藉由將前述壓電驅動板 1〇0在金屬振動板1 1 〇上使用導電性粘著劑予以貼合 ,而可製得壓電發聲體(或者壓電擴音器、壓電蜂音器。 在如此所得壓電發聲體1 2 0上,於電極1 〇 2與金 屬振動板1 1 0之間,換言之,於壓電驅動板1 0 0之表 面背面將施加驅動信號1 2 2。金屬振動板1 1 〇側通常 予以接地。如按此方式,對壓電驅動板1 〇 0給予電位移 ,則壓電驅動板1 0 0將如第7圖(B )中以箭頭F A所 示,往圓周方向伸縮。惟由於金屬振動板1 1 0,之存在 -4- 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 498696 A7 B7 五、發明說明(2 ) 而全體開始彎曲,結果,如箭頭F B所示在上下方向振動 而產生聲音。 〔發明擬解決的課題〕 壓電發聲體之聲壓(sound pressure)特性,將成爲例 如第8圖中以圖表GA所示者。該圖中,f 〇爲共振( resonance)頻率。又,f L爲聲壓低的頻率。此聲壓特性較 佳爲在人的可聽範圍,例如在3 0 OH z至3 kH z之範 圍爲平坦者。另一方面,由於在共振頻率附近聲壓將極端 變大之故,再生音對人類將成爲不自然。如增大金屬振動 板之直徑,共振頻率將低下。但,在此方法,壓電發聲體 之形狀將變大。又,藉由使壓電發聲體之厚度變小,亦可 降低共振頻率。然而,此方法在構造強度上當然有其界限 〇 於是,爲避免前述的不合適事宜的方法,有在日本專 利平7 6 - 7 8 3 9 7號公報所揭示的壓電發聲體。在此 方法中,於壓電振動板上設置使用金屬或陶瓷的共振抑制 構件。由此,可抑制因壓電振動板之共振作用的聲壓級( level )之變動。據此方法,如第8圖中的曲線G B所示, 共振頻率將移位至低區域側之同時,聲壓亦將被抑制。惟 在此背景技術中有呈現聲壓級極端下降的頻率f L的不合 宜現象。此乃可能在壓電發聲體中發生高次之振動之故。 本發明係著眼於以上之問題者,以提供不致降低音® 而可得良好音質的壓電發聲體及其製造方法爲目的° 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) -5- --------------------訂---------線 (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 498696 A7 _ B7 五、發明說明(3 ) 〔解決課題的方法〕 爲達成前述目的’第一,本發明提供一種壓電發聲體 ’係將箱體所支撐的振動板與由形成有電極的壓電材而成 的驅動板粘貼在一起的壓電發聲體,而前述驅動板或振動 板具備有可增大振幅且降低共振頻率的振動調整部。 藉由調整振幅及共振頻率的振動調整部之設立而不致 降低音量之下能獲得良好的音質。 其振動調整部,具體上,可採用下述方法。 (1 )構成爲在驅動板之壓電體內部所形成的電場肯g 引起較單層而使電極對抗的情形之電場爲高的電場之方式 ,且作成爲較假定驅動板及振動板之外徑比(驅動板之夕f 徑/振動板之外徑)爲0 · 7的情形之該驅動板與振動板 之質量比(驅動板之質量/振動板之質量(爲大。 (2 )構成爲在驅動板之壓電體內部所形成的電場肯g 引起較單層而使電極對抗的情形之電場爲高的電場之方式 ,且作成爲使驅動板之厚度較振動板之厚度爲厚。 (3 )在驅動板或振動板上設置與驅動板同步驅動的 壓電性之第二驅動構件。 (4 )將驅動板和前述第二驅動構件的合計質量,與 前述振動板之質量的比率作成爲5以下。 (5 )使驅動板之外形尺寸近似於振動板之外形尺寸 〇 由於如此方式對振動給予質量慣性,可降低固有振動 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) -11111--訂 I I — I ---- 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 -6 - 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 498696 A7 B7 五、發明說明(4 ) 頻率之同時,在其共振頻率亦可得高的聲壓。 又,由於設法著眼於電場、驅動性或外形尺寸以提升 振動性,可降低呈現在高頻側的高次諧波之共振,而能做 到在振動頻率之可聽頻帶的廣頻帶化’聲壓亦可得平坦者 〇 爲此之實現,採用下述方法較爲有效。 (1 )在驅動板或振動板之任一方之中央領域固接重 錘。 (2 )驅動板必須使用經埋設內部電極的積層體。 藉由在驅動板或振動板之任一方固接重錘而簡易地對 振動給予質量慣性,可降低固有振動頻率。又,藉由壓電 體之積層,而不致引起驅動電壓之增大之下能以有效率地 以大變位量驅動驅動板之同時,藉由增大厚度而共振頻率 將移位。據此,可容易實現上述(1 )至(5 )之方法, 不致招致聲壓之低落之下而可得經提升音質的壓電發聲體 〇 又,第二,本發明提供一種壓電發聲體之製造方法, 其特徵爲:製作由形成有電極的壓電材而成的驅動板和振 動板所構成,再具有調整振幅及共振頻率的振動調整部的 壓電發聲元件,並粘接箱體和該壓電發聲元件,藉由該粘 接劑支撐振動板。 藉由預先製作設置有振動調整部的壓電發聲元件並予 以固接而不致增加製造成本之下,即能製得音量降低小的 良好音質之壓電發聲體。本發明之前述以及其他目的,特 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) -----------裝--------訂--------- (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 498696 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 A7 B7 五、發明說明(5 ) 徵,優點將從以下之詳細說明及所附圖可明瞭。 〔發明之實施形態〕 以下,就本發明之實施形態加以詳細說明。在第1圖 中顯示有一實施形態之外觀及主要剖面。同圖中,壓電發 聲元件1 0係全體形成爲圓板狀而成爲在振動板1 2上使 驅動板1 4粘貼在一起的構成。另一方面,本身爲壓電發 聲元件1 0之支撐框的箱體2 0係直徑方向剖面爲略L字 狀而全體經形成爲圓環狀◦並且,藉由在此箱體2 0之高 低差2 2上擴及全周所設的粘接劑等支撐前述壓電發聲元 件1〇。 在前述振動板1 2之背面(圖之下側面)中央固接有 金屬製之重錘1 6。驅動板1 4係壓電體(壓電片)之積 層體構造而在內部平行埋設有內部電極3 0並在表面形成 有電極32,34。內部電極30係藉由通孔36而交替 方式連接至電極3 2,3 4。而分別將電極3 2連接至引 出端子3 8,電極3 4連接至引出端子4 0。引出電極 3 8,4 0可使用習用的金屬端子或導線等。另外,如振 動板1 2或箱體2 0爲金屬時,可作成爲從此引出一端之 端子之方式。 其次,就各構成要素再行說明。壓電發聲元件1 0之 振動板1 2可使用習用者。例如可使用1 0 /zm至1 0 0 // m程度厚之不銹鋼等之金屬板。 壓電發聲元件1 0之驅動板1 4係由使用例如, 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) -8 - --------tT---------$· (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 498696 A7 B7 五、發明說明(6 ) p z T系等習用之壓電陶瓷材料的壓電陶瓷積層體所構成 。如上述,由於藉由通孔3 6交替連接表面之電極3 2, (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 3 4與內部電極3 0而在鄰接的電極間成爲交替之極性。 在此,通孔3 6係藉由設置通孔合模面(through-hole land )以及使用導電膏塡充通孔內而形成之。振動板1 2之位 移量可依驅動板1 4內之壓電材之積層張數之增減而調整 ,而藉由積層張數之增加而容易達成位移量之增大。積層 構造方面,除圖示者以外,各種構造者亦可適用。 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 箱體2 0較佳爲金屬製。由於使用金屬,即使在下側 置開口 2 6仍能製得強度高精度佳的箱體2 0。具體而言 ,較佳爲如鎂合金等的不易受氧化且熱膨脹率較小的金屬 ,或者如鋁般的輕量的金屬。可按開口 2 6之形狀,大小 ,數量(圖示之例爲1個)調整聲壓。箱體2 0之形狀較 佳爲環狀者,而可由平板之切削加工或沖孔加工製得。又 ,箱體2 0之高低差2 2之部份之內徑係較振動板1 2之 外徑爲大,且開口 2 6之大小爲較振動板1 2之外徑爲小 而作成爲在箱體2 0內能收容壓電發聲元件1 0的形狀尺 寸。 在此箱體2 0中支撐壓電發聲元件1 0的方法而言, 可在箱體2 0按嵌合等方法藉機械方式予以固定,惟如考 慮生產性時藉粘接劑之支撐方法較佳。在此,如振動板 1 2爲金屬的情形,較佳爲與金屬間的粘接性良好而不會 阻礙振動的材質,例如,矽系粘接劑等柔軟的材質者較合 適0 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) _ 9 - 498696 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 A7 _______B7 五、發明說明(7 ) 安裝在壓電發聲元件1 0的重錘1 6,可使用金屬片 °又’固定重錘1 6的位置而言,可如圖示之方式固定在 振動板1 2之略中央,亦可固定在驅動板1 4側(電極3 2側,或電極3 4側)。或者,亦可使用與前述驅動板 1 4之壓電體相同材質形成重錘1 6,並將此積層於驅動 板1 4並予以粘接之方式。如此作成,則壓電體之積層部 份可當作重錘1 6作用,同時亦可當作第2驅動體作用。 又’亦可將重錘1 6分割爲複數個並設置在各處之方式。 經如上所構成的壓電發聲體5 0,例如對圖中以虛線 表示的電子機器箱體5 2,按壓電發聲元件1 0之驅動板 1 4能成爲機器側之方式予以安裝。如按此方式直接將壓 電發聲體5 0安裝在電子機器箱體5 2,則可實現電子機 器之高密度化,尤其是低矮化。另外,對電子機器箱體 5 2不直接安裝而亦可作成爲將具有開口的遮蔽板僅作外 殼蓋覆在驅動板側之方式。 其次,外部連接用端子3 8,4 0可做各種變形。首 先,可將導線按直接電氣方式連接至驅動板1 4之電極 3 2,3 4。第2圖(A )所示的例係將金屬端子6〇, 6 2分別安裝在壓電發聲元件1 〇之周圍適當位置者。在 一端之金屬端子6 0,係按電氣方式經連接至驅動板1 4 上面之電極3 2,而作爲端子6 1連接至外部。另一端之 金屬端子6 2 ’係按電氣方式經連接至使用導電性金屬的 振動板1 2 ’而作爲端子6 3連接至外部。振動板1 2, 係使用導電性粘接劑按電氣方式經連接至驅動板1 4之背 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) 10 -------------------訂---------線 (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 498696 A7 _ B7 五、發明說明(8 ) 面側之電極3 4。金屬端子6 0,6 2,係將金屬片彎曲 爲曲軸(crank )狀者,而露出在箱體2 0之外周部位。另 外’如箱體2 0爲金屬之情形,則爲防止上述金屬端子 60,62,按電氣方式接觸箱子20起見,在其等之間 設置絕緣被覆6 4,6 6。 第2圖(B )係將經電氣連接至驅動板1 4之背面側 電極3 4的振動板1 2,使用導線6 6連接至箱體2 0者 。端子6 3將由箱體2 0之適當部位取出。在一端子之金 屬端子6 0側係與前述第2圖(A )之例相同。 如上之第2圖所示,藉由從箱體使用金屬片製的端子 而引出,可製得能實裝的壓電發聲體。當然,可作成爲引 出至箱體之外周側之側面後再連接之方式。 第3圖(A )所示之例,係將分叩具有聲壓調整用之 開口 71,73的平板70,72,作成爲設置在壓電發 聲體5 0之箱體2 0之背側或表面之方式者。如此,藉由 聲壓調整用之平板7 0或7 2之設置,即使壓電發聲體 5 0爲相同構造,仍能獲得不同的聲壓特性並可降低鑄模 成本等之製造成本。 其次,一邊參照第4圖,一邊說明上述的壓電發聲體 5〇主要製造過程。首先從將成爲驅動板的積層體開始說 明。製作在具有P Z T系組成的陶瓷粉末中經添加粘接劑 的泥槳,從此依刮刀片(doctor blade )等方法製得生片( green sheet )。此生片之厚度較佳爲5// m至1〇〇 //m 範圍,特佳爲1 5 //m至5 0 之範圍。 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) -11- (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) .·裝---- tr---------. 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 498696 A7 五、發明說明(9 ) (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 裁斷如此所得的生片之同時,將A g (銀),A g / P d (鈀(等之導電膏使用網版印刷(SCreen pnnting)等之 方法印刷並形成如第4圖(A )所示的積層片1 4 A至 1 4 C。另外,在該處所分別形成通孔1 4 D至1 4 F。 其後,如同圖(B)所示,進行各積層片1 4A至1 4C 之積層之同時,並予以加壓固定。然後,如同圖(C )所 示般,在通孔內部塡充導電性膏。其後,切斷爲預定形狀 之同時,以約1 1 0 0度至1 3 0 0度程度之溫度燒成, 製得例如外徑1 5mm,厚度6 0 之積層體。 此積層體藉由在兩面連接電極端子並施加直流電壓而 極化,並成爲壓電驅動板。由於作成爲如此的積層構造而 可在電壓內形成較單層構造之情形爲高的電場。如此的積 層構造之驅動板1 4係如第4圖(C )所示般粘接在振動 板1 2。振動板1 2與驅動板1 4之粘接係藉由在驅動板 1 2之主面依網版印刷等方法均勻印刷粘接劑1 2 A ’並 對此貼上驅動板1 4而施行。此時,粘接劑1 2 A亦可使 用導電性粘接劑。如此可製得壓電發聲元件1 0。 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 另一方面,在設置有開口 2 6的箱體2 0內之高低差 2 2上按環狀塗佈矽系粘接劑2 4之後,將上述的壓電發 聲元件1 0按如第4圖(C )所示之方式予以粘接。粘接 劑2 4硬化後,即成爲振動板1 2受支撐的構造。相反地 ,亦可在振動板1 2側按環狀塗佈矽系粘接劑2 4之後粘 接在箱體2 0之高低著2 2,惟作業性的效率上’較佳爲 在箱體2 0側塗佈粘接劑2 4。在此情形,由於按粘接劑 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) -12- 498696 A7 ________ B7 五、發明說明(10 ) (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 2 4之度而壓電發聲元件1 〇之振動環境會變化之故,視 粘接劑2 4之硬度等之塗佈條件調整前述積層體之質量及 /或厚度。例如,如粘接劑2 4較硬時,要將積層體加重 ’加厚之方式。 其次’說明本形態之作用。在本形態中,作成爲較假 定驅動板1 4與振動板1 2之外徑比爲7的情形之該驅動 板1 4與該振動板1 2之質量比爲大,而驅動板1 4之厚 度爲較振動板1 2之厚度爲厚的構造。亦即,考慮驅動板 1 4及重錘1 6之全體質量及厚度能較振動板1 2爲大的 方式以決定形狀等。以往,壓電發聲體方面有人認爲驅動 板對振動板之比率以〇 · 7較爲理想(例如,T I C (股 )電子陶瓷1 9 8 4年秋季號壓電應用特輯「壓電擴音器 」)山添敏泰者)。然而,如考慮振動時之空氣阻抗或支 撐構造內之夜間振動阻害要因,若較以往增大體積。質量 則可提高音壓。藉由如此作法,即使降低作爲壓電發聲體 5〇的共振頻率,其聲壓仍高,且可得在較廣的頻率帶域 成爲平坦(flat )的聲壓振動。 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 經實驗確認,能得到良好的聲壓特性的振動板1 2與 驅動板1 4及重錘1 6之合計量之比率(驅動板1 4及重 錘1 6之質量/振動板1 2之質量),如考慮機械性剛性 及共振頻率降低效果之平衡時,較佳爲1 <合計比率< 5 之範圍之事實。 即使振動板1 2與驅動板1 4爲相同質量及/或厚度 ,亦可得同樣之效果。如增大驅動板1 4及重錘1 6之質 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) -13 - 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 498696 A7 ---- B7 五、發明說明(11 ) 量及/或厚度即能流動充份量的能量,惟相當程度之剛性 將過於升高而聲壓之共振頻率f 0將升高。亦即,如驅動 板1 4和重錘1 6的合計質量與前述振動板之質量之比率 爲1以下之情形,由於振動抑制作用不足之故,不能期待 共振頻率之低頻化。又,前述比率爲大於5的情形,由於 驅動板1 4之剛性將大到所需要値以上之故,機械性振動 板將被過份抑制。上述之範圍係爲達成聲壓之提昇及共振 頻率之低頻化兩者方面有用。 另外’重錘1 6較佳爲設在壓電發聲元件1 〇之中央 。由如此設置,可使發聲元件1 〇之固有振動予以低頻化 ,結果能做到聲壓之頻率特性之高頻帶(band zone )化之 故。又,形狀方面,不限於圓板狀而可作成爲環狀(nng )而中心軸將與驅動板1 4 一致之方式。 再者,經實驗確認,振動板1 2與驅動板1 4之外徑 尺寸之比率較佳爲; 〇· 8 ^ (驅動板1 4之外徑/振動板1 2之外徑) 〇 由於如此設定規定外徑比,可能可抑制出現在高頻側 的高次諧波(high-order )之共振之故,聲壓之頻率特性將 成爲平坦而聲壓級(sound pressure level)將被平坦化。再者 ,由於重錘1 6之附加效果,可能共振頻率會位移◦由此 條件而看,亦可以振動板作爲重錘並製作具有較共振動板 爲大的外徑的驅動板以作成爲支撐該驅動板的構造。 上述的形態中,重錘1 6係作爲振動調整部發揮作用 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) -14 - -----------裝--------訂---------^^1 (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 498696 A7 B7 五、發明說明(12 ) 者,惟替代重錘1 6,驅動板1 4可作爲振動調整部發揮 作用。第5圖(A )所示的例’係作成爲將驅動板1 4 P 之質量及/或厚度作成爲較前述振動板12之質量及/或 厚度爲大的構造。亦即,在振動板1 2所貼上的驅動板 1 4 P係考慮驅動板1 4 P之全體質量及/或厚度能較振 動板1 2爲大的方式以決定形狀等。振動板1 2與驅動板 1 4 P之質量及/或厚度之比率,如考慮機械剛性及共振 頻率降減效果之平衡時,爲與上述的情形同樣較佳爲; 1 <(驅動板1 4 P之質量或厚度/振動板1 2之質 量或厚度)<5之範圍。 如第5圖(B )所示,藉由第2之驅動板1 4 Q之設 置亦可得到同樣之效果。第1之驅動板1 4及第2之驅動 板1 4 Q係按分開作爲另體構成之同時,按能壓電驅動第 2之驅動板1 4 Q之方式設置電極3 2 Q並將兩者連接固 定予以一體化。如將第1之驅動板1 4及第2之驅動板 1 4 Q預先以積層並使之一體化,則可成爲與第5圖(5 )同樣。在此例中,由於第2之驅動板1 4 Q不僅將與前 述重錘1 6同樣發揮作用,亦可作爲驅動裝置發揮作用之 故,即使降低共振頻率,其聲壓仍高且在廣的頻率頻帶中 可得良好的聲壓之振動。第5圖(C )係將第2的驅動板 1 4 Q形成在第1之驅動板1 4與振動板1 2之間者,而 在第2之驅動板1 4 Q上設置有電極3 4 Q。 再者,在如第3圖(B )所示,亦可作成爲在振動板 1 2之表面及背面設置驅動板8 0,8 2之方式。在此情 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) -15- 裝--------訂--------- (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 498696 A7 ____ B7 五、發明說明(13 ) 形,按兩個驅動板8 0,8 2之伸縮相位(expansion phase)不致相撞之方式調整振動模式及極化方向。在此例中 ,振動板1 2係按將其周緣對箱體8 4之溝8 6嵌入的狀 態以機械方式予以支撐。 另外,如此方式將積層體之一部份作爲振動調整部使 用的情形,除進行參考材料特性的調整之外,藉由前述生 片之厚度,電極層數,片層數等之調節而進行振動特性之 調整。 如上之第2之驅動板1 4 P,1 4 Q較佳爲與進行驅 動的壓電材料同一材料者,並較佳爲在積層過程時在第1 之驅動板1 4上進行積層形成。金屬片製的重錘1 6較佳 爲在驅動板1 4與振動板1 2之粘接過程時設置。當然, 亦可作成爲將重錘1 6以與驅動板1 4同一材料形成。又 ,可作成爲設置第2之驅動板及重錘兩者。 又,驅動板1 4之中心軸與振動板1 2之中心軸,在 發揮振動之效率至最大限起見,較佳爲使之一致。由於如 此調整,當振動時中心部將最受質量之影響而可給予大的 質量慣性。據此可更有效獲得上述的聲壓特性之效果。 第5圖(D )係電極3 2 R兼用驅動板1 4之表面側 電極及重錘的例,而第5圖(C )係電極3 4 R兼用驅動 板1 4之背面側電極及重錘的例。再者,可作成爲兼用驅 動板1 4之內部電極1 8及重錘之方式。不論任何一種方 式,均可得與前述例同樣效果。其次,就有關前述形態之 實施例加以說明。 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210x297公釐) -16 -
