Abstract

This invention is to perform a control based on the sensing result in a stable condition by heightening the sensing accuracy of a current sensing means and a voltage sensing means. A current of known level is sensed by a current sensing circuit 32 through a current transformer 31 while the input voltage of known level is sensed by a voltage sensing circuit 34 through a step-down transformer 17, and at the stage before product shipment, the sensing values of current and voltage are stored in a non-volatile memory 38 as the reference current value and reference voltage value, respectively. A control unit 36 calculates the current and voltage values sensed by the sensing circuits 32 and 34, respectively, during the cooking operation on the basis of the stored reference values. At this time of calculation, the power supply frequency sensed by a frequency signal generating circuit 35 and the temp. sensed by a temp. sensing circuit 37 are taken into account.
