Abstract

There is provided a real-time monitoring method and mechanism for production line. At first, the used process time, the used waiting time, and the theoretical following process time in a process stage on a production line are determined for a batch of products. Then, the process tolerance time, the waiting tolerance time and surplus tolerance time in the process stage for the batch of products are estimated.
