Abstract

A method of generating mineral water including improving the solubility of the calcium contained in corallite, obtaining calcium-rich mineral water and generating delicious and almost neutral mineral water, and a mineral water-generating apparatus for enabling the above method. In reservoir vessel 4 for receiving water is provided with a mineral water-generating filter 5 constructed by filter material containing calcium carbonate. The water contained in the reservoir vessel 4 is delivered to an electrolytic tank 6 by a circulating pump 7 and is electrolyzed to separately generate acidic water and alkaline water. The acidic water is delivered to the mineral water-generating filter 5 while the alkaline water is directly recycled to the reservoir vessel 4. In this way, the acidic water passed through and generated in the mineral water-generating filter 5 in the reservoir vessel 4 is mixed with the alkaline water in the reservoir vessel 4, and thus neutral, mineral-rich and delicious mineral water is generated.
