The bearing pedestal 6 is received in the hollow external cover 2. The measuring pedestal 10 is mounted rotatably against the bearing pedestal 6 through a main spindle 13. Therefore, the spirit level device allows the measurement to be performed diversely. Since it is possible to adjust the length of the level device, it is convenient to carry it by making a small size through adjustment of the length.
