Abstract

A zero voltage switching power supply comprising: a supply inductance (T1W1); an input supply voltage source (RAW B+); a first transistor (Q1) periodically applying the input supply voltage on the supply voltage thereby generating a first oblique wave signal (iQ1) which is coupled to the first transistor in a positive feedback way thereby providing a proportional driving in a first part period of a set period during an on period of the first transistor; a control circuit (Q2,Q3) for generating a control signal (VB) which is coupled to the first transistor thereby controlling the timing of turning off the first transistor; a capacitance (C8) coupled to the supply inductance thereby forming a resonant circuit for generating a resonant signal in the supply inductance when the first transistor has been turned off, the resonant signal being coupled to the first transistor for turning on the first transistor at the end of a second part of the set period thereby providing a zero voltage switching of the first transistor; and a rectifier (DOUT2) coupled to the supply inductance for generating an output supply voltage (REG B+) applied on a load circuit.
