Abstract

A sort of process of manufacturing cellulosic fibers with a reduced tendency to form fibrils by spinning solutions of tertiary amine oxides and probaly water and stabilizerfiber for condensation, cleaning and dry, featuring the treatment by the tertiary amine oxide solution and heat after the fiber leaving the condensation bath and before rinse, when the density of the tertiary amine oxide of the solution of the tertiary amine oxide varies between 40 and 80 wt.%, containing additives of density in the range of 0.5 to 10 wt.% during which time the heat treatment taking place at between 60oC to 250oC at the same time or after treatment by the tertiary amine oxide or solution containing tertiary amine oxide or the first additive, or only with a heat treatment after the fiber containing the tertiary amine oxide leaving the condensation bath.
