Abstract

Biaxially oriented laminated polyester film for use as film to be bonded onto metal sheet, comprising: (A) a first layer formed from a first copolyester which is composed of ethylene terephthalate unit as a main recurring unit and as subsidiary recurring unit, 4~20 mol% of ethylene isophthalate or ethylene sebacate and has a melting point of 210 to 245 degree C and a glass transition temperature of 60 degree C or higher, and contains a lubricant selected from silica, titanium dioxide and alumina and having an average particle diameter of 2.5 (m or smaller in an amount of 1% by weight or less, and ( B ) a second layer formed from a polyester composed of ethylene terephthalate unit as a main recurring unit and , as a subsidiary recurring unit, 4~20 mol% of ethylene isophthalate or ethylene sebacate and has a melting point of 210 to 245 degree C and ( B2) a third (copolyester which is composed of butylene terephthalate unit as a main recurring unit and as a subsidiary recurring unit,0~19 mol% of butylene isophthalate and butylene sebacate and has a melting point of 180 to 223 degree C , the third copolyester being contained in an amount of 1 to 40 % by weight based on the total weight of the second copolymer and the third (co) polyester, if necessary , the polyester composition contains not more than 30% by weight of a filler (B3) having an average particle diameter of 2.5 (m or smaller, the second layer being to consititute a surface to be bonded onto a metal surface when the laminated film is laminated on the metal sheet.
