Abstract
A weak ground effect aircraft, which comprises a main wing, a horizontal tail wing, and an aircraft body connecting the main wing and the horizontal tail wing; the wing string of the horizontal tail wing is smaller than that of the main wing, the position of the horizontal tail wing on the aircraft is higher than that of the main wing and the rear end of the tail wing has a movable elevator; the aircraft is characterized in that the aircraft further comprises a device which can control the altitude of the aircraft while the aircraft is undergoing ground effect flying, the device comprises: (a) first set of pressure transmitter (or differential pressure transmitter), which is located on the surface of main wing or under the aircraft body, in which the transmitter will generate first pressure (or differential pressure) signal to indicate variation of air dynamic pressure (or differential pressure) under the surface of main wing or aircraft body caused by the altitude change of ground effect flying; (b) second set of pressure transmitter (or differential pressure transmitter), which is located on the surface of the horizontal tail wing, the transmitter will generate a second pressure (or differential pressure) signal which represents the variation of air dynamic pressure (or differential pressure) on the surface of the tail wing; and (c) a signal processing device, which receives the first pressure (or differential pressure) signal and the second pressure (or differential pressure) signal to generates a control signal to change the angle of elevator in order to maintain the aircraft at a fixed altitude.
