Abstract

A mass production method for ice sculpture which consists essentially of:conveyor line, cooling tank, mold box, coolant tank, drilling device,injection, suction device, micro temperature increasing device, hydrauliccylinder, freezer; the method is characterized in: (1) water pre treatment, which comprises: (a) first and second layer filtration: filter out impurities in the water so as to obtain clear ice; (b) addition of additives which can increase the hardness of ice, decrease the rate of melting of ice and eliminate fogginess of the ice; (c) pre cooling of the water which reduces the water temperature to about 0 deg.C to prevent the contraction and formation of bubble of the product; (2) transporting the pre cooled water into the cooling tank which maintain the water at about 0 deg.C; (3) pouring the water into the mold: there is a mold of the shape of the designed ice sculpture in the mold box; there are two booms on the mold which are separately installed on the conveyor line and are movable by the conveyor line; the cooled water is poured into the mold box to an amount that there is room for the water to expand during ice formation; (4) transporting into the coolant tank: the coolant tank is filled with coolant which freezes the water in the mold box with the aid of the freezer; (5) freezing the outer layer: during the initial stage of the freezing, the outer layer of the water is frozen first; (6) drilling: with the aid of the drilling device the ice sculpture semi product which has its outer layer frozen is drilled holes; (7) inserting decorations: with the aid of the injection and the suction device, the drilled ice sculpture semi product is inserted with decorations and the air in the mold box is sucked out by the suction device; (8) micro temperature elevation: the frozen mold box is moved out of the freezer and entered the micro temperature increasing device in which temperature of the mold box and the ice sculpture is increased slightly for the convenience of mold release; (9) mold release: through clamping of the booms by the hydraulic cylinder and the contraction of the booms, the mold box can be demolded; the product is placed in another conveyor and moved into an icebox.
