102。FIG. 1A is a schematic top view of a stretchable display panel according to at least one embodiment of the present invention, wherein FIG. 1A shows a partial top view structure of the stretchable display panel 100 . Referring to FIG. 1A , the stretchable display panel 100 has a display area 101 and at least one non-display area 102 adjacent to the display area 101 . Since FIG. 1A shows a partial top view structure of the stretchable display panel 100 , FIG. 1A only shows a part of the display area 101 and a part of the non-display area 102 , but does not show the complete display area 101 and the non-display area 102 .

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1A , the stretchable display panel 100 may have a display area 101 and a non-display area 102 , wherein the non-display area 102 is adjacent to the display area 101 and located around the display area 101 . In other embodiments, the stretchable display panel 100 may have at least two non-display regions 102 , wherein the display region 101 may be located between the two non-display regions 102 . Therefore, the number of non-display regions 102 of the stretchable display panel 100 is not limited by that shown in FIG. 1A .

The stretchable display panel 100 includes a substrate 110 including a plurality of island regions 111 , a plurality of bridge regions 112 and a plurality of openings 113 . The island areas 111 , the bridge areas 112 and the openings 113 are all distributed in the display area 101 and the non-display area 102 . With the island regions 111 and the bridge regions 112 , the substrate 110 can have good elasticity, stretchability and flexibility, wherein the island regions 111 and the bridge regions 112 can be integrally formed into one. The substrate 110 may be made of a polymer material, for example, polyimide (Polyimide, PI) or polyethylene terephthalate (Polyethylene Terephthalate, PET).

Each bridge area 112 generally extends along a curve or an arc, wherein the shape of the edge of each bridge area 112 can be a curve or an arc, as shown in FIG. 1A . Most of these island regions 111 are approximately rectangular in shape. From FIG. 1A , at least one of these approximately rectangular island regions 111 has four sides, and a plurality of bridge regions 112 (for example, four bridge regions 112 ) respectively connect the four sides of the same island region 111 .

D2。In this embodiment, most of the openings 113 are basically strip-shaped, and the widths at both ends of most of the openings 113 are obviously larger than the width in the middle of the openings 113, so the individual shapes of most of the openings 113 are similar to dumbbells, as shown in the figure 1A. In addition, the orientations of these openings 113 are also different. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1A , some openings 113 extend along a first direction D1 , but other openings 113 extend along a second direction D2 , wherein the first direction D1 is different from the second direction D2 .

Taking FIG. 1A as an example, the first direction D1 and the second direction D2 may be perpendicular to each other, and the openings 113 may be arranged in a matrix along the first direction D1 and the second direction D2, wherein the openings 113 may extend according to different directions. Instead, they are arranged in a staggered manner, so that two adjacent openings 113 respectively have different extending directions from each other. In addition, the island regions 111 can also be arranged in a matrix, wherein the plurality of island regions 111 are arranged in multiple columns along the first direction D1, and the plurality of island regions 111 are arranged in multiple rows along the second direction D2.

The stretchable display panel 100 further includes at least one circuit substrate 190 , wherein the circuit substrate 190 may be a circuit board on which chips have been mounted, and may be a flexible printed circuit (Flexible Printed Circuit, FPC). The circuit substrate 190 can be disposed above the substrate 110 and located in the non-display area 102 , but the circuit substrate 190 is not only not disposed in the display area 101 , but also does not overlap with the display area 101 . Since the stretchable display panel 100 can also have at least two non-display regions 102 , the stretchable display panel 100 can also include a plurality of circuit substrates 190 , wherein the circuit substrates 190 can be respectively arranged in the non-display regions 102 . In addition, in other embodiments, multiple circuit substrates 190 can also be arranged in the same non-display area 102 .

The islands 111 and the bridges 112 define the openings 113 , wherein each opening 113 is surrounded by the islands 111 and the bridges 112 . Taking FIG. 1A as an example, each of most openings 113 is surrounded by four adjacent island regions 111 and four adjacent bridge regions 112 . However, each opening 113 closest to the circuit substrate 190 is surrounded by two adjacent island regions 111 and a bridge region 112 . In addition, most of the openings 113 are approximately in the shape of a dumbbell, but the shape of the opening 113 closest to the circuit substrate 190 is approximately in the shape of a drop. Compared with the dumbbell-shaped opening 113 , the drop-shaped opening 113 adjacent to the circuit substrate 190 has obviously smaller size, as shown in FIG. 1A .

The stretchable display panel 100 also includes a plurality of pixel structures 120, a plurality of signal lines 130 and a plurality of bridge lines 150, wherein the pixel structures 120 and the signal lines 130 are located in the display area 101, and the bridge lines 150 are located in the non-display area 102 . Specifically, the pixel structures 120 are disposed on the island regions 111 in the display region 101 , and the signal lines 130 are disposed on the bridge regions 112 in the display region 101 .

150。At least some of the bridge lines 150 can be disposed on at least part of the bridge areas 112 in the non-display area 102 . In other words, the bridging lines 150 can be respectively disposed on one or some of the bridge regions 112 in the non-display region 102 , but not disposed on other bridge regions 112 in the non-display region 102 . Alternatively, these bridging lines 150 can also be respectively provided on all bridge areas 112 in the non-display area 102 , that is, at least one bridging line 150 can be provided on each bridge area 112 in the non-display area 102 .

In addition, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1A , the plurality of island regions 111 adjacent to the circuit substrate 190 each have a shape different from other island regions 111 and are connected to each other to form a larger-sized island region (not shown), As shown in FIG. 1A , some of the bridging lines 150 can be disposed on the large-sized island region. In other words, these bridge lines 150 can not only be arranged on some bridge regions 112 in the non-display region 102, but also can be arranged on some island regions 111 in the non-display region 102, especially those arranged on the adjacent circuit substrate 190. Island District 111.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1A , in the non-display area 102 , some bridge areas 112 are provided with bridge lines 150 , but other bridge areas 112 are not provided with any bridge lines 150 . Taking FIG. 1A as an example, in the non-display area 102, no bridge line 150 is provided on the bridge regions 112 extending substantially along the first direction D1, but the bridge regions substantially extending along the second direction D2 These bridging lines 150 will be provided on 112 . Therefore, the bridging lines 150 may generally extend along the second direction D2.

It is worth mentioning that the structure and material of the signal line 130 and the bridge line 150 can be the same, and the difference between the signal line 130 and the bridge line 150 is only in the different areas. These signal lines 130 are located in the display area 101 , but not in the non-display area 102 . On the contrary, the bridging lines 150 are located in the non-display area 102 but not in the display area 101 .

150。In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1A, at the junction between the display area 101 and the non-display area 102, some bridge areas 112 will cross the boundary between the display area 101 and the non-display area 102, and at least one signal line 130 At least one bridging line 150 can be set on the same bridge area 112 and connected to each other. In other words, the signal line 130 and the bridge line 150 connected to each other can be arranged on the bridge area 112 across the border between the display area 101 and the non-display area 102, so that the signal line 130 in the display area 101 can be electrically connected to the non-display area 102. Bridge lines 150 within region 102 are displayed.

In the display area 101, the pixel structures 120 located on two adjacent island areas 111 are electrically connected to each other by at least one signal line 130 located on the bridge area 112, so that these signal lines 130 can be electrically connected to these Pixel structure 120. Taking FIG. 1A as an example, three signal lines 130 can be disposed on the same bridge area 112 and electrically connect two adjacent pixel structures 120 . In addition, in this embodiment, a plurality of signal lines 130 (such as three signal lines 130) can be arranged on each bridge area 112 in the display area 101, but in other embodiments, each bridge area 112 in the display area 101 Only one signal line 130 may be provided. Therefore, FIG. 1A does not limit the number of signal lines 130 disposed on each bridge area 112 in the display area 101 .

Similarly, in this embodiment, in the non-display area 102 , multiple bridge lines 150 can be set on the same bridge area 112 . Taking FIG. 1A as an example, a plurality of bridging lines 150 (for example, three bridging lines 150 ) may be disposed on each bridge area 112 substantially extending along the second direction D2. However, in other embodiments, only one bridge line 150 may be disposed on each bridge region 112 substantially extending along the second direction D2. Therefore, in the non-display area 102 , the number of bridge lines 150 disposed on the bridge area 112 substantially extending along the second direction D2 is not limited by FIG. 1A .

Each pixel structure 120 includes at least one light emitting element 121 and a driving circuit 122 , wherein the light emitting element 121 is electrically connected to the driving circuit 122 so that the driving circuit 122 can drive the light emitting element 121 to emit light. In addition, the light emitting element 121 may be an organic light emitting diode (Organic Light Emitting Diode, OLED) or a light emitting diode (Light Emitting Diode, LED), such as a micro LED (micro LED, μLED) or a submillimeter light emitting diode. Polar body (mini LED).

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1A, each pixel structure 120 includes a plurality of light emitting elements 121, for example three light emitting elements 121, wherein these light emitting elements 121 can be red light emitting diodes, green light emitting diodes and blue light emitting diodes. Diodes, so that each pixel structure 120 can emit a variety of different colors of light, such as red light, green light and blue light. In this way, each pixel structure 120 can be used as the main pixel (main pixel) of the stretchable display panel 100, and the various colored lights (such as red light, green light and blue light) emitted by these light emitting elements 121 can be stretched to display The panel 100 can display images.

However, it should be noted that in other embodiments, these light emitting elements 121 can also emit light of the same color, such as white light or blue light, and the stretchable display panel 100 can also include a variety of wavelength conversion materials, such as light filter layer, fluorescent material or quantum dot material. These wavelength conversion materials can convert the light (such as white light or blue light) emitted by the light emitting element 121 into different colored light, such as red light, green light and blue light, so that the stretchable display panel 100 can also display images.

The stretchable display panel 100 further includes a filling material 180 , wherein the filling material 180 is disposed above the substrate 110 and located in the non-display area 102 but not in the display area 101 . The filling material 180 is disposed on the circuit substrate 190 and covers the circuit substrate 190 and part of the non-display area 102 , but the filling material 180 does not cover the display area 101 and other parts of the non-display area 102 adjacent to the display area 101 . Therefore, the filling material 180 , at least part of the island regions 111 in the non-display region 102 and at least part of the bridge regions 112 in the non-display region 102 overlap.

The Young's modulus of the filling material 180 may be greater than or equal to 500 MPa, such as 1000 MPa, so the filling material 180 is relatively rigid and not easily deformed. Since the filling material 180 does not cover the part of the non-display area 102 adjacent to the display area 101, and the filling material 180 has a certain rigidity, the filling material 180 can produce a stress relieving effect in the non-display area 102, so as to reduce or avoid stress in the non-display area 102. Cracks are formed in the display area 102 .

FIG. 1B is a schematic top view of the stretchable display panel without filling material in FIG. 1A , wherein FIG. 1B draws the outline 181 of the filling material 180 with a dotted line to show the distribution range of the filling material 180 on the substrate 110 . Please refer to FIG. 1A and FIG. 1B , the non-display area 102 can be divided into two areas, one of which is the pin area 102 a, and the other is the bonding area 102 b. From FIG. 1B , the lead area 102 a is located between the bonding area 102 b and the display area 101 , and the bonding area 102 b is located at the outer edge of the substrate 110 .

170。The stretchable display panel 100 also includes a plurality of pads 170, wherein these pads 170 are disposed in the non-display area 102 on the substrate 110, and may be disposed in the bonding area 102b, but these pads 170 are not disposed in the display area 101 inside. The pads 170 may be arranged along the first direction D1 , as shown in FIG. 1B . In addition, the circuit substrate 190 may cover the pads 170 . Since the filling material 180 covers the circuit substrate 190 , the filling material 180 also covers the pads 170 .

170。The circuit substrate 190 is electrically connected to the pads 170 . For example, the circuit substrate 190 can use solder or anisotropic conductive film (Anisotropic Conductive Film, ACF) to electrically connect the pads 170 . The bridging lines 150 are disposed on the island regions 111 and the bridge regions 112 in the non-display region 102 to electrically connect the pixel structures 120 and the pads 170 .

170。Specifically, the bridge lines 150 can be electrically connected to the signal lines 130 , so that the bridge lines 150 can be electrically connected to the pixel structures 120 . The stretchable display panel 100 may further include a plurality of wires T15 located on the substrate 110 and in the non-display area 102, wherein these wires T15 are connected between the pads 170 and the bridge lines 150, so that these The bridge lines 150 can be electrically connected to the pads 170 through the traces T15 .

In this way, the pixel structures 120 and the pads 170 can be electrically connected to each other by using the bridging lines 150 . Since the circuit substrate 190 is electrically connected to the pads 170 , the circuit substrate 190 can use the pads 170 and the bridging lines 150 to electrically connect the pixel structures 120 . In this way, the circuit substrate 190 can input signals to the pixel structures 120 through the pads 170 and the bridge wires 150 to control the light emitting elements 121 in the pixel structures 120 to emit light, thereby generating images.

140。The stretchable display panel 100 may further include a plurality of dummy circuits 140 . The dummy circuits 140 are disposed on at least part of the island regions 111 in the non-display region 102 , but not in the display region 101 . In this embodiment, these dummy circuits 140 are respectively disposed on all the island regions 111 in the non-display region 102 . That is to say, dummy circuits 140 are provided on each island area 111 in the non-display area 102 . However, in other embodiments, dummy circuits 140 may be disposed on some island regions 111 in the non-display region 102 , but no dummy circuits 140 are disposed on other island regions 111 in the non-display region 102 . Therefore, at least one island region 111 in the non-display region 102 may not be provided with any dummy circuit 140 .

The pixel structures 120 and the pads 170 are electrically connected to each other by using the dummy circuits 140 . Specifically, the dummy circuits 140 are electrically connected to the bridge lines 150 . Since the bridge lines 150 can be electrically connected to the pixel structures 120 through the signal lines 130 , the dummy circuits 140 can also be electrically connected to the pixel structures 120 through the bridge lines 150 . Secondly, since the bridge lines 150 can be electrically connected to the pads 170 through the traces T15 , the dummy circuit 140 can also be electrically connected to the pads 170 through the bridge lines 150 . In this way, the pixel structures 120 and the pads 170 can be electrically connected to each other by using the dummy circuits 140 and the bridge lines 150 .

140。The filling material 180 may overlap with at least one of the dummy circuits 140 . In this embodiment, the filling material 180 covers some dummy circuits 140 and some bridge lines 150 in the non-display area 102 , but does not cover other dummy circuits 140 and other bridge lines 150 in the non-display area 102 . In other words, the filling material 180 of this embodiment does not cover all the dummy circuits 140 in the non-display area 102 .

140。Since the island regions 111 can be arranged in a matrix along the first direction D1 and the second direction D2, the dummy circuits 140 disposed in the non-display region 102 can also be arranged in a matrix, wherein the dummy circuits 140 can be arranged along the first direction D1 and the second direction D2. A plurality of columns are arranged in one direction D1 and a plurality of rows are arranged in a second direction D2 , and the filling material 180 can cover at least one column of the dummy circuits 140 arranged in the first direction D1 .

Taking FIG. 1A as an example, the dummy circuits 140 in the non-display area 102 can be arranged in two columns along the first direction D1, and the filling material 180 covers one of the multiple dummy circuits 140 adjacent to the circuit substrate 190, but does not cover the Another plurality of dummy circuits 140 in another column. In addition, since the filling material 180 covers one of the dummy circuits 140 adjacent to the circuit substrate 190, the dummy circuits 140 covered by the filling material 180 are located on the pads 170 and other dummy circuits 140 not covered by the filling material 180. Between the dummy circuit 140 , as shown in FIG. 1A and FIG. 1B .

FIG. 2A is a schematic circuit diagram of one of the pixel structures in FIG. 1A . Please refer to FIG. 1A and FIG. 2A , in this embodiment, each pixel structure 120 includes a driving circuit 122 , and FIG. 2A shows the circuit structure of the driving circuit 122 . The driving circuit 122 includes a plurality of active elements 122t and a plurality of passive elements 122c, wherein the active elements 122t may be transistors, such as thin film transistors (Thin Film Transistor, TFT), and the passive elements 122c may be capacitors.

The active elements 122t and the passive elements 122c are electrically connected to each other to form the driving circuit 122 , wherein the drains of the three active elements 122t are respectively electrically connected to the three light emitting elements 121 to control the light emitting elements 121 to emit light. A plurality of signal lines 130 are electrically connected to the driving circuit 122 and electrically connected to some active components 122t. In this way, the circuit substrate 190 can input signals to the driving circuits 122 through the signal lines 130 to control the light emitting elements 121 to emit light.

FIG. 2B is a schematic circuit diagram of one of the dummy circuits in FIG. 1A , wherein FIG. 2B shows the circuit structure of the dummy circuit 140 . Please refer to FIG. 1A and FIG. 2B , the circuit structure of the dummy circuit 140 is similar to that of the driving circuit 122 . For example, in this embodiment, each dummy circuit 140 also includes a plurality of active elements 122t and a plurality of passive elements 122c. However, the dummy circuits 140 do not include any light emitting elements 121 , so these dummy circuits 140 will not emit light during the operation of the stretchable display panel 100 . Secondly, in the same dummy circuit 140 , the drains of the three active devices 122t can be in a floating state, as shown in FIG. 2B .

In this embodiment, each dummy circuit 140 may further include a plurality of wires 141, wherein these wires 141 are electrically connected to a plurality of bridge wires 150, but are not electrically connected to any active element 122t and passive element 122c, so that the circuit substrate 190 The output signal only passes through the wiring 141 and does not pass through any active element 122t and passive element 122c in the dummy circuit 140 . In this way, the active element 122t and the passive element 122c in the dummy circuit 140 basically do not affect the output signal of the circuit substrate 190 , and also do not affect the operation of the stretchable display panel 100 .

141。However, in other embodiments, the wires 141 in the same dummy circuit 140 can also be electrically connected to the active elements 122t. Since the active element 122t can be a transistor, the source and gate of the same active element 122t can be electrically connected to each other, so that the active element 122t forms a conduction element without switching function, which is like a common wire, such as the wire 141 .

141。In this way, these active elements 122t without switching function basically do not affect the output signal of the circuit substrate 190, and can be electrically connected to these wirings 141, so that the signal of the circuit substrate 190 can be transmitted to these via the wiring 141 and the active element 122t. Pixel structure 120. In addition, in other embodiments, the dummy circuit 140 may only include these wires 141 , but does not include any active element 122t and passive element 122c, that is, the dummy circuit 140 may be at least one wire 141 disposed on the island region 111 .

FIG. 3A is a schematic cross-sectional view drawn along line 3A-3A in FIG. 1A , and FIG. 3B is a schematic cross-sectional view drawn along line 3B-3B in FIG. 1A . Please refer to FIG. 1A, FIG. 3A and FIG. 3B, the stretchable display panel 100 may further include a first covering layer 161, a second covering layer 162 and a filling colloid 163, wherein the filling colloid 163 is located between the first covering layer 161 and the second covering layer 161. between the covering layers 162 , and the filling material 180 covers the first covering layer 161 . In addition, the filling colloid 163 may include a first colloid 163a and a second colloid 163b, wherein the materials of the first colloid 163a and the second colloid 163b may be the same or different polymer materials.

140。The stretchable display panel 100 may further include an element array layer 164 and a dielectric layer 165 , wherein the element array layer 164 is disposed on the substrate 110 , and the dielectric layer 165 is disposed on the element array layer 164 . Therefore, the device array layer 164 is located between the dielectric layer 165 and the substrate 110 . In addition, the device array layer 164 includes the driving circuits 122 and the dummy circuits 140 .

Specifically, the element array layer 164 has a multi-layer film layer, and these film layers include a multi-layer insulation layer, a multi-layer conductive pattern layer and a semiconductor pattern layer, wherein these film layers are stacked on each other, thereby forming a plurality of active elements 122t (such as thin film transistors) ) and a plurality of passive components 122c (such as capacitors). In this way, the driving circuits 122 and the dummy circuits 140 are formed.

123。The dielectric layer 165 can be an interlayer dielectric (Inter Layer Dielectric, ILD), and at least one bridge line 150 , the traces T15 and the pads 170 can all be disposed on the dielectric layer 165 . In addition, each pixel structure 120 may further include a plurality of connection pads 123 , wherein the connection pads 123 may also be disposed on the dielectric layer 165 , and the light emitting elements 121 are electrically connected to the connection pads 123 .

The stretchable display panel 100 may further include a plurality of contact windows (not shown), wherein the contact windows may be formed in the dielectric layer 165 . The contact windows can actually be a plurality of conductive pillars penetrating the dielectric layer 165 , and can electrically connect the driving circuit 122 and the connection pads 123 . In this way, the light emitting elements 121 can be electrically connected to the driving circuits 122 through the connection pads 123 and the contact windows, so that the driving circuit 122 can control the light emitting elements 121 to emit light.

The stretchable display panel 100 may further include a planar layer 166 and an insulating layer 167, wherein the insulating layer 167 is disposed on the dielectric layer 165, and covers the traces T15 and the bridge lines 150, but does not cover or not completely cover the pads 170, so that the circuit substrate 190 can be electrically connected to these pads 170, wherein the circuit substrate 190 can be electrically connected to these pads 170 through a conductive material 191, and the conductive material 191 is, for example, solder or an anisotropic conductive film.

166。The planar layer 166 is disposed on the insulating layer 167 , and the planar layer 166 can be a polymer material layer, and can cover the insulating layer 167 and the light emitting elements 121 . In addition, the element array layer 164, the dielectric layer 165, the flat layer 166, the insulating layer 167 and the substrate 110 have substantially the same shape, so that these openings 113 can extend to the element array layer 164, the dielectric layer 165, the insulating layer 167 with flattening layer 166.

The first glue 163 a covers the planar layer 166 , and the second glue 163 b covers the substrate 110 , wherein the first glue 163 a can be filled into the openings 113 from the planar layer 166 and connected to the second glue 163 b. Therefore, the filling gel 163 can cover the substrate 110 , the pixel structures 120 , the signal lines 130 and the bridging lines 150 , and fill in the openings 113 to cover the pixel structures 120 . In addition, both the first colloid 163 a and the second colloid 163 b have the function of blocking oxygen and water vapor, so the filling colloid 163 can protect the light-emitting element 121 from being damaged by oxygen and water vapor, thereby increasing the service life of the light-emitting element 121 .

In this embodiment, the filling material 180 may be formed by curing the fluid glue, so the filling material 180 may have an uneven thickness. Specifically, a portion of the filling material 180 directly above each pad 170 has a first thickness T31 , and a portion of the filling material 180 directly above each dummy circuit 140 has a second thickness T32 , wherein the first thickness T31 is greater than the second thickness T32 . In addition, the thickness (for example, the second thickness T32 ) of the filling material 180 on the first covering layer 161 may decrease gradually from the pad 170 toward the pixel structure 120 .

100。It is worth mentioning that in other embodiments, the filling material 180 can also be an adhesive tape. Therefore, the thickness of the filling material 180 on the first covering layer 161 does not necessarily decrease gradually from the pad 170 toward the pixel structure 120 . In addition, the Young's modulus of both the first covering layer 161 and the second covering layer 162 can be less than 500Mpa, so both the first covering layer 161 and the second covering layer 162 can have considerable stretchability and flexibility. and elasticity, thereby helping to stretch and bend the stretchable display panel 100 .

On the contrary, the Young's modulus of the filling material 180 can be greater than or equal to 500Mpa, so the filling material 180 can have a certain degree of rigidity, that is, the filling material 180 is not easily deformed. In this way, when the stretchable display panel 100 is stretched or bent, the filling material 180 can help to fix the circuit substrate 190 below, so as to reduce or avoid the relative displacement between the circuit substrate 190 and the pads 170, thereby maintaining the relationship between the circuit substrate 190 and the pad 170. The electrical connection between the pads 170 reduces the probability of disconnection between the circuit board 190 and the pads 170 .

It is worth mentioning that, in the above embodiment shown in FIG. 1A , the filling material 180 covers a column of dummy circuits 140 arranged along the first direction D1, but the other column of dummy circuits 140 is not covered by the filling material 180 at all. cover. However, in other embodiments, the filling material 180 may also cover the multiple columns of dummy circuits 140 arranged along the first direction D1 , as shown in FIG. 4 . In other words, the plurality of dummy circuits 140 covered by the filling material 180 may be arranged in a matrix.

140。Please refer to FIG. 4 , in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 , the stretchable display panel 100 is similar to 400 , wherein the material of the filling material 480 is the same as that of the filling material 180 . The only difference between the stretchable display panel 100 and 400 is that the filling material 480 included in the stretchable display panel 400 covers the two columns of dummy circuits 140 arranged along the first direction D1, and one of the columns of dummy circuits 140 is completely covered by the filling material 480 , while the dummy circuits 140 of the other column are partially covered by the filling material 480 but not completely covered. Therefore, when the dummy circuits 140 are arranged in a matrix along the first direction D1 and the second direction D2 , the filling material 480 can cover at least two columns of dummy circuits 140 arranged along the first direction D1 .

5A is a broken-line schematic diagram of the strain of the filling material changing with different Young's modulus in at least one embodiment of the present invention, wherein the horizontal axis represents the Young's modulus of the filling material (ie, filling materials 180 and 480 ), and The vertical axis represents the strain amount of the filling material. In addition, the numerical values shown on the vertical axis in FIG. 5A represent the increase in length of the filling material.

100.7%。Please refer to Figure 5A, when the Young’s modulus of the filling material is 0.5GPa (500MPa), the corresponding strain of the filling material is about 1.30%, where 1.30% means that the length of the filling material after deformation increases to 101.30% of the original length . Similarly, when the Young's modulus of the filling material is 1GPa (ie 1000MPa), the corresponding strain of the filling material is about 0.7%, which means that the length of the filling material after deformation increases to 100.7% of the original length.

It can be seen from Figure 5A that when the Young's modulus of the filling material is greater than or equal to 0.5GPa, the strain of the filling material is less than 1.40%. It has good rigidity and is not easy to deform, so that the filling materials 180 and 480 can effectively fix the circuit substrate 190 and reduce or avoid defects such as poor electrical contact or open circuit caused by the relative displacement between the circuit substrate 190 and the pad 170 .

140。5B is a broken-line schematic diagram of the strain of the filling material changing with the number of columns covering the dummy circuit in at least one embodiment of the present invention, wherein the vertical axis represents the strain of the filling material, which is the same as the vertical axis of FIG. 5A The indicated strain. The horizontal axis represents the number of columns that the filling material covers the dummy circuits 140 . In detail, according to the above embodiment, when the dummy circuits 140 are arranged in a matrix along the first direction D1 and the second direction D2, the plurality of dummy circuits 140 will be arranged in multiple columns along the first direction D1, and The numbers shown on the horizontal axis of FIG. 5B represent how many columns of dummy circuits 140 are covered by the filling material.

2。Taking FIG. 1A as an example, a plurality of dummy circuits 140 arranged in a matrix are arranged in two columns along the first direction D1, and the filling material 180 covers one column of these dummy circuits 140, but does not cover the other column of other dummy circuits 140. Therefore, FIG. The column number of the filling material 180 covering the dummy circuit 140 in 1A is 1, which corresponds to 1 shown on the horizontal axis in FIG. 5B . Similarly, in the stretchable display panel 400 of FIG. 4 , the filling material 480 covers two columns of these dummy circuits 140, so the number of columns of the dummy circuits 140 covered by the filling material 480 in FIG. 4 is 2, which corresponds to the 2 shown on the horizontal axis.

It can be seen from FIG. 5B that when the filling material (ie, the filling material 180 or 480 ) covers at least one column of these dummy circuits 140 , the strain of the filling material will be less than 0.80%. This means that the filling material covering at least one column of dummy circuits 140 has good rigidity and is not easily deformed. In this way, the filling material can effectively fix the circuit substrate 190 to reduce or avoid defects such as poor electrical contact or open circuit.

To sum up, since the island region and the bridge region of the substrate are distributed in the display region and the non-display region, the parts of the stretchable display panel in the display region and the non-display region are all stretchable, elastic and stretchable. flexibility. Compared with the existing stretchable display panel, the stretchable display panel disclosed in the above embodiments still has sufficient stretchability, elasticity and flexibility in its non-display area, thus reducing or avoiding the formation of non-display areas. Cracks in the display area, thereby improving the quality and reliability of the stretchable display panel.
