Abstract
本發明提供一種紙材以及使用其的軟包裝材。紙材的至少一表面塗佈有第一塗佈層和第二塗佈層,紙材具有大於45200 sec的透氣度及小於40 dyn/cm的達因值。第一塗佈層包括無機填料以及第一水性可熱封塗料,第一水性可熱封塗料包括聚烯烴分散體、乙烯丙烯酸共聚物或苯乙烯丙烯酸酯乳液。第二塗佈層包括無機填料以及第二水性可熱封塗料,第二水性可熱封塗料包括聚烯烴分散體、乙烯丙烯酸共聚物、苯乙烯丙烯酸酯乳液或聚乙烯醇。

本發明是有關於一種紙材以及使用其的軟包裝材,且特別是有關於一種無氟紙材以及使用其的軟包裝材,同時兼具耐水、耐油、高阻氣性、可再散漿性、可熱封性及低表面能等優點。
包裝的形式千變萬化,不僅可吸引消費者注意,更可為產品提供保護及便於流通的功能,被廣泛的應用在食品、電子、醫療、生活用品以及家電等用途,是商品流通不可或缺的一部分。近年來,隨著食品產業發展,具有高度實用性的軟包裝材被廣泛使用於食品包裝,但現有的軟包裝材普遍存在難以回收的缺點。基於資源可回收性以及環境保護的考量,軟包裝材的發展趨勢將朝向綠色永續以及回收循環的方向發展。
全氟烷基和多氟烷基物質(PFAS,Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances)因其獨特的化學和物理特性(包括防油和低表面能的特性)而廣泛用於各種消費品和工業應用中(例如軟包裝材),其中最著名的是全氟辛酸(PFOA,perfluorooctanoic acid)和全氟辛烷磺酸(PFOS,perfluorooctane sulfonic acid)。然而,全氟烷基和多氟烷基物質為一種持久的、具有生物蓄積性的有毒物質,因此,可能會對環境和人類健康造成嚴重且不可逆的不利影響。基於此點,目前已有相當多的國家禁止生產和使用全氟烷基和多氟烷基物質。
在先前技術中,TW 201945198是關於一種可用作食品軟包裝材的紙製阻障材料,在阻障塗覆層中含有扁平無機顏料A及扁平無機顏料B,扁平無機顏料A為雲母,扁平無機顏料B為高嶺土或黏土,但此案中並未提及是否具有耐油性質以及可再散漿性。TW 201927574提供一種紙基材,紙基材上依序具有水蒸氣阻障層、氣體阻障層,水蒸氣阻障層含有水蒸氣阻障性樹脂及撥水劑,氣體阻障層含有水溶性高分子及界面活性劑,但此案僅教示具有阻隔水蒸氣和氧氣的功能。CN102177296B供一種塗布紙,具有多層塗層,包括:用膠乳形成的第一水蒸氣阻擋層、生物聚合物阻擋層以及第二水蒸氣阻擋層,雖然具有改進的油脂抵抗性質、氧阻擋性質和水蒸氣阻擋性質,但塗佈三層的加工製程繁瑣,且此案亦僅教示具有阻隔水蒸氣和氧氣的功能。
基於上述,開發一種無氟紙材以及使用其的軟包裝材,進而避免對環境和人類健康造成嚴重且不可逆的不利影響,同時兼具耐水、耐油、高阻氣性,可再散漿性、可熱封性及低表面能等優點,為本領域技術人員亟欲發展的目標。
本發明提供一種無氟紙材,在製備為軟包裝材後具有高度的可再散漿性達到可循環再造的環保目標,同時又兼具耐水、耐油、高阻氣性、可熱封性及低表面能等優點。
本發明提供一種紙材,具有大於45200 sec的透氣度及小於40 dyn/cm的達因值。
本發明的紙材的至少一表面塗佈有第一塗佈層和第二塗佈層。第一塗佈層包括無機填料以及第一水性可熱封塗料,第一水性可熱封塗料包括聚烯烴分散體、乙烯丙烯酸共聚物或苯乙烯丙烯酸酯乳液。第二塗佈層包括無機填料以及第二水性可熱封塗料,第二水性可熱封塗料包括聚烯烴分散體、乙烯丙烯酸共聚物、苯乙烯丙烯酸酯乳液或聚乙烯醇。
在本發明的一實施例中,紙材具有大於85%的纖維得率。

基於上述,本發明提供一種紙材以及使用其的軟包裝材,紙材的至少一表面塗佈有第一塗佈層和第二塗佈層,紙材具有大於45200 sec的透氣度及小於40 dyn/cm的達因值。此外,本發明的紙材不含有全氟烷基和多氟烷基物質,因此,符合現今產業界的環保需求,能夠避免對環境和人類健康造成嚴重且不可逆的不利影響。另一方面,本發明的紙材通過可再散漿試驗,可歸入一般紙類回收,後端回收商可因此減少處理成本與工序,進而提升廢棄物回收率。
以下,將詳細描述本發明的實施例。然而,這些實施例為例示性,且本發明揭露不限於此。
在本文中,由「一數值至另一數值」表示的範圍,是一種避免在說明書中一一列舉該範圍中的所有數值的概要性表示方式。因此,某一特定數值範圍的記載,涵蓋該數值範圍內的任意數值以及由該數值範圍內的任意數值界定出的較小數值範圍,如同在說明書中說明文寫出該任意數值和該較小數值範圍一樣。
本發明提供一種紙材以及使用其的軟包裝材。紙材的至少一表面塗佈有第一塗佈層和第二塗佈層,其中第二塗佈層為預塗層,介於紙材的表面與第一塗佈層之間。紙材可具有大於45200 sec的透氣度及小於40 dyn/cm的達因值,紙材的基重例如是30 g/m2

。第一塗佈層和第二塗佈層的配方可以是相同或不同。
本發明中所提到的「軟包裝材」是指在充填或取出內裝物後,容器形狀可發生變化的包裝。一般而言,用紙材、鋁箔、纖維、塑膠薄膜以及其複合物所製成的各種袋、盒、套、包封等均為軟包裝材,可用於進行食品包裝,本發明主要是使用紙材製成軟包裝材。在先前技術中,使用全氟烷基和多氟烷基物質製成軟包裝材,但全氟烷基和多氟烷基物質為一種持久的、具有生物蓄積性的有毒物質,因此,可能會對環境和人類健康造成嚴重且不可逆的不利影響。本發明則是使用紙材取代習知的全氟烷基和多氟烷基物質,進而避免對環境和人類健康造成嚴重且不可逆的不利影響。
以下,藉由實驗例來詳細說明上述實施例所提出的紙材以及使用其的軟包裝材。然而,下述實驗例並非用以限制本發明。測試方法
透氣度是根據ISO 5636-5/ TAPPI T460測試方法測定。此測試方法測量一定量的空氣通過試樣所需的時間。氣壓由重力缸產生,該重力缸使用液體密封件捕獲腔室內的空氣量。加壓的空氣被引導到夾緊墊圈,該墊圈固定住試樣。隨著內筒穩定地向下移動,測量以秒為單位的秒數,這是內筒從150 mL標記下降到250 mL標記所需的時間。穿過試樣的空氣通過下游夾板上的孔逸出到大氣中。
水蒸氣透過率(WVTR,Water vapor transmission rate)是通過ASTM F1249 / TAPPI T557測試方法測量,測定條件為溫度37.8 ºC且相對濕度90%。乾燥室與已知溫度和濕度的濕室通過待測試的阻隔材料隔開。乾燥室與濕室構成擴散池(diffusion cell),其中將測試膜密封。將擴散池放置在測試站中,在該測試站中,乾燥室和薄膜頂部被乾燥的空氣或乾燥的氮氣吹掃。透過薄膜擴散的水蒸氣與空氣混合,並被帶入調壓紅外傳感器。該傳感器測量被水蒸氣吸收的紅外能量的一部分,並產生電信號,其幅度與水蒸氣濃度成正比。將由測試膜產生的電信號的振幅與通過測量已知透射率的校準膜產生的信號進行比較。然後,此信息將用於計算WVTR。
表面能量是通過達因筆測試(DIN ISO 8296)測量。依DIN ISO 8296 規範,測定表面能量(表面張力)的方法,是用已知不同表面能量的墨(例如:達因筆),在待測樣品上刷約100 mm 墨痕,並觀察其90% 以上的墨痕在2秒鐘內是否發生收縮並形成墨滴。如有,則換低一級表面能量的墨水再進行相同觀察,直至不收縮和出現墨滴,此即為對應該樣品的表面能量。
耐油性是通過TAPPI T 559測試方法評估。TAPPI T 559測試方法也被稱為試劑盒測試(kit test),包括將一滴蓖麻油、庚烷和甲苯的混合物滴在經塗佈的紙材上,並在15秒後觀察經塗佈的紙材是否變黑。總共使用了十二種不同的混合物,基於混合物的滲透性,將混合物編號為混合物1至混合物12,其中混合物12滲透性最大,而混合物1滲透性最小。混合物中蓖麻油含量越少,混合物的腐蝕性就越強。當至少一部分測試混合物被經塗佈的紙材吸收時,通過經塗佈的紙材的變黑或變色來表示「失敗」,樣品分數是經塗佈的紙材未「失敗」時使用的編號最高的混合物(混合物1至混合物12),被稱為「試劑盒級別(Kit no.)」。基本上,當Kit no.值越高,則代表耐油性越好。
耐水性是通過TAPPI T 441測試方法評估,藉由Cobb吸水度測試儀測量塗佈層的吸水率。吸水率(Cobb值)定義為特定時間內(30分鐘內)在1厘米水深下1平方米的紙、紙板或瓦楞纖維板吸收的水量。基本上,當Cobb值越低,則代表耐水性越好。
起封溫度通過熱封強度測試測量。通過加熱和加壓(0.5秒,300kPa)密封兩個紙材的塗佈層,密封樣品是從密封的紙材切下的15mm寬的樣品。密封強度是根據ASTM D1876剝離試驗測定,導致紙張樣品破裂的最低溫度即為起封溫度。
可再散漿試驗是依據來自於FBA(The Fibre Box Association)的標準方法,用以評估可回收性和再循環性。將紙材在攪拌器和崩解儀中於pH為7(±0.5 pH)的水中重新製漿,並保持在溫度約50℃左右。紙材在具有0.010英寸或更小縫隙的篩網中分離,以確定纖維得率(以纖維進料量的百分比表示),其中篩網是具有很多長條狀空隙的網子。更詳細而言,纖維得率的作法是,通過具有0.010英寸(寬度)篩網的部分用於計算纖維得率。可再散漿試驗的評估標準為:纖維得率大於85%為通過可再散漿試驗;若低於此數值,則代表未通過可再散漿試驗,塗佈的材料和纖維無法分開。製備塗料組合物
將高嶺土(CAPIMTM
,作為無機填料)添加到蒸餾水中,並將混合物以1800rpm攪拌20分鐘至30分鐘,以獲得高嶺土漿料。然後,將高嶺土漿料與水性可熱封塗料混合,並在900 rpm下攪拌5分鐘至10分鐘,以得到本發明的塗料組合物。紙材塗佈
紙材由闊葉樹紙漿(LBKP)和針葉樹紙漿(NBKP)的混合紙漿製成。在紙材上塗佈塗料組合物,並乾燥以形成第一塗佈層。然後,在紙材的第一塗佈層上進一步塗佈塗料組合物,以形成第二塗佈層。下方表1至表3列出了實例1至實例17以及比較例1至比較例2中第一塗佈層以及第二塗佈層的塗佈重量和組成配方。同時,分別以上文所述的測試方法評估實例1至實例17的各項性質,評估結果列於以下表1至表3中。
在表1至表3中,塗料配方是指高嶺土以及水性可熱封塗料的乾重比。水性可熱封塗料包括聚烯烴分散體(商品名RHOBARRTM
320,簡稱為“R320”)、乙烯丙烯酸共聚物(商品名AquasealTM
X2221,簡稱為“X2221”)、苯乙烯丙烯酸酯乳液(Michem® Coat 95,簡稱為“MC95”)或聚乙烯醇。

由上方表1至表2可得知,實例1至實例17為本發明表面塗佈有第一塗佈層和第二塗佈層的紙材,具有大於45200 sec的透氣度及小於40 dyn/cm的達因值,均呈現良好的透氣度、耐水及耐油性質,同時具有可熱封性,且無論第一塗佈層和第二塗佈層的配方相同或不同的情況下皆是如此。
再進一步地測試本發明提供的紙材的可再散漿性。由上方表3可得知,實例9以及實例11為本發明表面塗佈有第一塗佈層和第二塗佈層的紙材,纖維得率均大於85%,通過可再散漿試驗。比較例1及比較例2則是於第二塗佈層中不含有無機填料,僅含有水性可熱封塗料,因此,纖維得率均小於85%,未通過可再散漿試驗。此實驗結果顯示,無機塗料的添加對於可再散漿的重要性,本發明的紙材具有高度的可再散漿性,能夠讓第一塗佈層和第二塗佈層與紙基材分離,大幅提高紙基材的回收率而能重新再製備為紙漿。
綜上所述,本發明提供一種紙材以及使用其的軟包裝材,紙材的至少一表面塗佈有第一塗佈層和第二塗佈層,紙材具有大於45200 sec的透氣度及小於40 dyn/cm的達因值,呈現高阻氣性、耐水及耐油性質,更具有可熱封性。此外,本發明的紙材不含有全氟烷基和多氟烷基物質,因此,符合現今產業界的環保需求,能夠避免對環境和人類健康造成嚴重且不可逆的不利影響。另一方面,本發明的紙材通過可再散漿試驗,可歸入一般紙類回收,後端回收商可因此減少處理成本與工序,進而提升廢棄物回收率,因此,可解決現有軟包裝材難以回收的缺點,兼顧資源可回收性以及環境保護,符合現今世界各國在包裝材上朝向綠色永續以及回收循環方向發展的趨勢。

Claims (12)
- 一種紙材,其至少一表面塗佈有第一塗佈層和第二塗佈層,所述紙材具有大於45200 sec的透氣度及小於40 dyn/cm的達因值, 其中所述第一塗佈層包括無機填料以及第一水性可熱封塗料,所述第一水性可熱封塗料包括聚烯烴分散體、乙烯丙烯酸共聚物或苯乙烯丙烯酸酯乳液; 所述第二塗佈層包括無機填料以及第二水性可熱封塗料,所述第二水性可熱封塗料包括聚烯烴分散體、乙烯丙烯酸共聚物、苯乙烯丙烯酸酯乳液或聚乙烯醇。
- 如請求項1所述的紙材,其中所述紙材具有大於85%的纖維得率。
- 如請求項1所述的紙材,其中所述第一塗佈層的塗佈重量為3 g/m2 至20 g/m2 。
- 如請求項1所述的紙材,其中所述第二塗佈層的塗佈重量為3 g/m2 至20 g/m2 。
- 如請求項1所述的紙材,其中所述第一塗佈層與所述第二塗佈層的塗佈重量的總和為6 g/m2 至30 g/m2 。
