Abstract

Description

展開式椎骨撐開裝置
本發明有關於一種展開式椎骨撐開裝置，特別是指一種能夠在植入人體後，向外展開擴張，以撐開椎骨達到復位治療效果的椎骨撐開裝置。
當人體脊椎骨（例如頸椎、胸椎、腰椎、）受到壓迫性骨折（Compression fracture）、或是因骨質密度不佳而塌陷時，需要使用椎骨撐開裝置，植入人體椎骨中，將脊椎椎體往上、下兩方向撐開，以達到復位治療的效果。有關椎骨撐開裝置的先前技術，例如可參閱US 7,846,206 B2，US 9,414,933B2，以及TW I589266。
本發明採用與前述先前技術不同的展開式機械結構，可省略先前技術中的零件，較易製造與組裝。
就其中一觀點言，本發明提供了一種展開式椎骨撐開裝置，包含：一軸心，具有一前端與一後端；一展開部，套設在該軸心的外部，該展開部包含葉瓣部、固定部和連接部，其中該葉瓣部具有複數葉片，且該葉片的厚度，從前端往後端方向逐漸變厚；該固定部用以固定該展開部與該軸心在該軸心的軸向上的相對位置，但容許在該軸心的徑向上，該軸心可以在該固定部的內部相對於該展開部而轉動；該連接部用以連接該葉瓣部與該固定部；一撐開環，套設在該軸心的外部，從該軸心的徑向上而言，該撐開環位在該軸心和該展開部之間；其中， 當該撐開環相對於該展開部而往後端移動時，該葉片被撐開，達到撐開脊椎骨的效果。
在一種較佳的實施型態中，該軸心的本體外圍設有螺紋，且該撐開環的內部設有對應的螺紋。
在一種較佳的實施型態中，該軸心的後端為操作端，可使用對應的工具來轉動，藉此使該軸心在該固定部的內部相對於該展開部而轉動。

底下藉由具體實施例詳加說明，當更容易瞭解本發明之目的、技術內容、特點及其所達成之功效。
本發明中的圖式屬於示意，主要意在表示各結構部分的作用與其間的相互關係，至於形狀、厚度與寬度則在實施時可以調整改變。
請參考第1-3圖，其顯示本發明之展開式椎骨撐開裝置100的一個實施例。第1圖顯示本發明裝置的撐開狀態、第2圖本發明裝置的零件分解圖、第3圖顯示本發明裝置的收合狀態。圖示展開式椎骨撐開裝置100的右端為前端、左端為後端；當施行手術(例如微創手術)將展開式椎骨撐開裝置100植入人體內時，是先將展開式椎骨撐開裝置100的右端放入。
本發明之展開式椎骨撐開裝置100包含軸心101、展開部102、撐開環103。展開部102和撐開環103都套設在軸心101的外部；從軸心101的徑向上而言，撐開環103位在軸心101和展開部102之間。軸心101的本體外圍設有螺紋，且撐開環103的內部設有對應的螺紋。軸心101的後端(左端)為操作端101A，當手術施作者轉動操作端101A時，使軸心101在撐開環103的內部相對轉動 (也就是撐開環103在軸心101的本體外圍相對轉動)，並藉此使軸心101穿過撐開環103的內部進行相對直線移動 (也就是撐開環103在軸心101的軸向上相對移動)。在圖示實施例中，操作端101A為六角形，手術施作者可使用六角形的工具來轉動；但本發明不限於此，操作端101A可設計為任何可控轉動的型式，讓施行手術者使用對應的器械來轉動。
展開部102包含葉瓣部102A、固定部102B和連接部102C。葉瓣部102A具有複數葉片，葉片的厚度102A1，從圖中右方到左方逐漸變厚，此部分的作用容後說明。葉片的形狀並沒有限制，在本實施例中，葉片在軸心101的軸向平面投影為矩形，在軸心101的徑向平面投影為弧形，但這僅是舉例說明其中一種較佳實施方式。固定部102B用以固定展開部102與軸心101的相對位置(在軸心101的軸向上)；固定可用任何方式達成，本實施例的圖示僅是舉例。在本實施例中，軸心101包含凸緣101B，而固定部102B套設在凸緣101B的外部，並抵接操作端101A。藉此，在軸心101的軸向上，展開部102與軸心101的相對位置被固定；但，在軸心101的徑向上，軸心101可以在固定部102B的內部，相對於展開部102而轉動。連接部102C用以連接葉瓣部102A與固定部102B。
當施行手術者使得軸心101相對於撐開環103而轉動(也相對於展開部102而轉動)，且使得軸心101穿過撐開環103的內部向右相對移動時，撐開環103相對於展開部102而往左移動。由於葉片的厚度102A1，從圖中右方到左方逐漸變厚，因此當撐開環103相對於展開部102而往左移動時，葉片被撐開，達到將脊椎椎體撐開的效果。
請參閱第2圖，在一較佳實施例中，撐開環103具有至少一個凸出部103A，且較佳地具有至少相等於葉片數目的凸出部103A。凸出部103A可以伸入在葉片被撐開後產生的縫隙中，與葉片的一邊抵接，藉此，當葉片受到人體的抵抗力量而有向內收合的趨勢時，因凸出部103A與葉片的一邊抵接，使得撐開環103得以被保持在定位，不會輕易被迫往右退回。
在一較佳實施例中，軸心101為中空，且設有注入與流出開口，以便利在植入人體之後，還可以從注入開口經由軸心101的中空部分注入填充物，例如骨水泥(bone cement) 或是補骨材料（bone graft）等，而由流出開口流出。舉例而言，填充物可以從軸心101的左端(操作端101A設有注入開口)穿過軸心101的內部，由軸心101的右端(設有流出開口)注入人體。請參閱第1、2圖，在一較佳實施例中，填充物除了從軸心101的左端注入開口穿過軸心101的內部，由軸心101的右端流出開口注入人體之外，軸心101還可以在徑向上設置流出開口(第1、2圖中舉例顯示開口101C)，以增加填充物的釋放管道。開口101C的數目與尺寸形狀，圖示僅是舉例，本發明並不限於此。
請參閱第2圖，在一較佳實施例中，每一葉片的寬度(即，在徑向平面上的周長)為D，而連接部102C與每一葉片連接處的寬度為d，其中d>D，以減少葉片撐開時所需要的力量，且較佳地，d>(1/2)D。
在一較佳實施例中，軸心101的右端可再栓上螺帽109，或固定設置螺帽109，以防止撐開環103與軸心101完全脫離。但如果無此顧慮，則螺帽109並非必須而可以省略。
請再參閱第4、5圖，顯示根據本發明另一實施例之展開式椎骨撐開裝置200的撐開狀態與零件分解圖。本實施例顯示：葉片的數目不限於為兩瓣，而可以為更多數目；撐開環103的凸出部103A數目也是如此。此外請參閱第5圖，固定部102B和連接部102C，也不限於為第1-3圖所示的外形與結構，而可以改變；只要固定部102B能協助在軸心101的軸向上，固定展開部102與軸心101的相對位置，而連接部102C能容許葉片被撐開，即符合本發明的精神。
以上已針對較佳實施例來說明本發明，唯以上所述者，僅係為使熟悉本技術者易於了解本發明的內容而已，並非用來限定本發明之權利範圍。在本發明之相同精神下，熟悉本技術者可以思及各種等效變化。例如，在不影響主要功能的前提下，可加入其他零件、或是將實施例中描述為分開獨立的至少一零件，合成為一體的單一零件，例如展開部102的固定部102B和連接部102C可以視為合成一個部分。又例如，葉片在軸心101的軸向平面投影不必須為矩形，在軸心101的徑向平面投影不必須為弧形，只需要能達成撐開的效果即可。又例如，凡此種種，皆可根據本發明的教示類推而得。因此，本發明的範圍應涵蓋上述及其他所有等效變化。

Claims (10)

  1. 一種展開式椎骨撐開裝置，包含： 一軸心，具有一前端與一後端； 一展開部，套設在該軸心的外部，該展開部包含葉瓣部、固定部和連接部，其中該葉瓣部具有複數葉片，且該葉片的厚度，從前端往後端方向逐漸變厚；該固定部用以固定該展開部與該軸心在該軸心的軸向上的相對位置，但容許在該軸心的徑向上，該軸心可以在該固定部的內部相對於該展開部而轉動；該連接部用以連接該葉瓣部與該固定部； 一撐開環，套設在該軸心的外部，從該軸心的徑向上而言，該撐開環位在該軸心和該展開部之間； 其中， 當該撐開環相對於該展開部而往後端移動時，該葉片被撐開，達到撐開脊椎骨的效果。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之展開式椎骨撐開裝置，其中該軸心的本體外圍設有螺紋，且該撐開環的內部設有對應的螺紋。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第2項所述之展開式椎骨撐開裝置，其中該軸心的後端為操作端，可使用對應的工具來轉動，藉此使該軸心在該固定部的內部相對於該展開部而轉動。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第3項所述之展開式椎骨撐開裝置，其中該操作端為六角形。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之展開式椎骨撐開裝置，其中該撐開環包含至少一凸出部，用以伸入在該葉片被撐開後產生的縫隙中，與至少一葉片的一邊抵接。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之展開式椎骨撐開裝置，其中該軸心的外圍包含一凸緣，且該固定部套設在該凸緣的外部。
  7. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之展開式椎骨撐開裝置，更包含一螺帽，栓於該軸心的前端。
  8. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之展開式椎骨撐開裝置，其中該軸心的內部為中空，且設有注入與流出開口。
  9. 如申請專利範圍第8項所述之展開式椎骨撐開裝置，其中該軸心在徑向設有流出開口。
  10. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之展開式椎骨撐開裝置，其中每一葉片的寬度為D，而連接部與每一葉片連接處的寬度為d，其中d>(1/2)D。
