Description

Colored photosensitive resin composition, color filter and image display device

The present invention relates to a colored photosensitive resin composition having improved storage stability, a color filter prepared using the composition, and an image display device.

(2009.05.25)The color filter is built into the color camera of image sensors such as complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and charge coupled device (CCD), so that the color can be obtained in practice. Color filters are used in images. In addition, they are also widely used in camera elements, plasma display panels (PDP), liquid crystal display devices (LCD), field emission displays (FEL), and light-emitting displays (LED). The scope is rapidly expanding. In particular, LCDs have become popular in recent years. Therefore, color filters are considered to be one of the most important components in reproducing the color tone of LCDs. Such a color filter is prepared by a method of forming a desired coloring pattern using a coloring photosensitive resin composition containing a colorant. Specifically, such a color filter is prepared by repeatedly performing one of the following series of processes: forming a coating layer composed of a colored photosensitive resin composition on a substrate, patterning the formed coating layer, and exposing and developing the coating layer , And heat-cured by heating. Recently, with the expanding market demand for high-quality displays with strong color reproduction capabilities, the content of coloring agents contained in coloring photosensitive resin compositions used to prepare color filters has continued to increase. Use of colorants. However, in the conventional dispersing colorants, as the proportion of the colorants increases, in order to ensure stability, the content of the dispersant in the coloring photosensitive resin composition increases sharply, resulting in a slowdown in the development speed, which causes residues or problems in reliability. . If the content of the dispersant is reduced in order to prevent such problems, problems may occur in the storage stability of the colored photosensitive resin composition, causing problems such as foreign matter generation due to colorant aggregation or increased viscosity. Therefore, solutions to this need to be studied. In Korean Registered Patent No. 1596960, it is described for a highly radioactive coloring composition that, because it contains a solvent containing two ethoxy groups and CI Pigment Green 58, it can form green pixels with extremely high brightness and contrast, but it is fundamental The storage stability of the strongly radioactive coloring composition is not considered. In addition, in Korean Registered Patent No. 0900389, although it is described that a strong radioactive coloring composition containing dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether as a solvent, this is a cleaning nozzle that is easy to clean, thereby redissolving the strong radioactive coloring composition. Sexual improvement. Therefore, the storage stability of the strongly radioactive coloring composition has still not been considered at all. 顏料 components, it includes not only a scenario in which a component is in contact with other components, but also a scenario in which other components exist between two components. In the case where it is described in the present invention that certain parts "include" certain structural elements, as long as there is no special contrary description, other structural elements are not limited, and it means that other structural elements may be included. Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described.< Colored photosensitive resin composition One embodiment of the present invention relates to a colored photosensitive resin composition, and a solvent contained in the colored photosensitive resin composition contains propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate and a compound represented by Chemical Formula 1 below. [Chemical Formula 1]In this Chemical Formula 1, R1 Are each independently a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, a methoxy group, or an ethoxy group, R2 Are independently C1 To C8 Of extension alkyl.Solvent The colored photosensitive resin composition according to the present invention includes a solvent (a-1), and the solvent (a-1) contains propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate and a compound represented by the chemical formula 1. When the solvent (a-1) contains propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate and the compound represented by the chemical formula 1, the storage stability of the coloring photosensitive resin composition containing the same is improved, and foreign matter generation and coloring agent precipitation can be suppressed. In addition, the dispersibility of the colorant is improved, and the viscosity can be appropriately adjusted. Since the colorant is easily micronized when dispersed, the contrast of a color filter including a cured product of a colored photosensitive resin composition containing the colorant is improved. Specifically, the compound represented by the chemical formula 1 may be selected from the group consisting of diethoxymethane, dipropoxymethane, dibutoxymethane, and bis (2-methoxyethoxy). ) Methane (bis (2-methoxyethoxy) methane) and 3,3 '-(methylenebis (oxymethylene)) bisheptane (3,3'-Methylenebis (oxymethylene)) bisheptane) More than one. More specifically, one or more members selected from the group consisting of dibutoxymethane and bis (2-methoxyethoxy) methane. When the solvent (a-1) contains one or more members selected from the group consisting of the dibutoxymethane and bis (2-methoxyethoxy) methane, it can prevent the solvent from being evaporated in a vacuum after coating. Defective craters due to rapid evaporation of the solvent. Although the mixing ratio of the propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate and the compound of Chemical Formula 1 is not particularly limited, specifically, it may be mixed at a weight ratio of 100: 1 to 100: 50; more specifically, 100: 1 to 100: 30 weight ratio was mixed. When the mixing ratio is within the above range, the storage stability of the colored photosensitive resin composition containing the same and the dispersibility of the colored agent contained in the colored photosensitive resin composition can be improved. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the colored photosensitive resin composition of the present invention may further include a solvent (a-2) other than the solvent (a-1). The solvent (a-2) which may be contained in the colored photosensitive resin composition is not particularly limited as long as it can dissolve other components which may also be contained in the colored photosensitive resin composition, and specific examples include ethers and aromatic hydrocarbons. Ketones, ketones, alcohols, esters, etc. These compounds can be used singly or in combination. Specific examples of the solvent (a-2) include ethylene glycol monomethyl ether, ethylene glycol monoethyl ether, ethylene glycol monopropyl ether, ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, and the like, Diethylene glycol dimethyl ether, diethylene glycol diethyl ether, diethylene glycol dipropyl ether, diethylene glycol dibutyl ether, and other diethylene glycol dimethyl ethers, methyl cellulose acetate, ethyl acetate Glycol alkyl ether acetates such as cellulose acetate, propylene glycol monoethyl ether acetate, propylene glycol monopropyl ether acetate, methoxybutyl acetate, methoxypentyl acetate Alkylene glycol alkyl ether acetates, aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene, toluene, xylene, mesitylene, methyl ethyl ketone, acetone, methyl amyl ketone, methyl isobutyl Ketones such as ketones, cyclohexanone, alcohols such as ethanol, propanol, butanol, n-hexanol, cyclohexanol, ethylene glycol, glycerol, etc., ethyl 3-ethoxypropionate, 3-methyl Ester such as methyl oxypropionate, cyclic ester such as γ-butyrolactone and the like. In addition, as the solvent (a-2), an organic solvent having a boiling point of 100 ° C. to 200 ° C. may be specifically used in terms of coating properties and drying properties. More specifically, propylene glycol monoethyl ether acetate, cyclohexanone, and ethyl lactate may be used. , Butyl lactate, ethyl 3-ethoxypropionate, methyl 3-methoxypropionate, and the like. The colored photosensitive resin composition of the present invention may contain 60 to 90% by weight, specifically 65 to 87% by weight, and more specifically 70 to 85% by weight based on 100% by weight of the total amount of the colored photosensitive resin composition. Solvent. When the content of the solvent satisfies the above range, when coating with a coating device such as a roll coater, a homogenizer, a slit spin coater, a slit coater (also known as a die coater), or an inkjet, It is expected to obtain good coatability. When the content of the solvent is lower than the above range, as the coatability slightly deteriorates, stains may appear on a color filter made of a coloring photosensitive resin composition containing the same. When it is out of the above range, it is difficult to achieve a required coating film thickness when coating with a colored photosensitive resin composition containing the same, resulting in difficulty in high color reproduction using a color filter prepared therewith. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the coloring photosensitive resin composition of the present invention further includes one or more members selected from the group consisting of a coloring agent, an alkali-soluble resin, a photopolymerizable compound, and a photopolymerization initiator.Colorant The colored photosensitive resin composition according to an embodiment of the present invention may further include a colorant. If the content of the dye is within the above range, the problem of reducing the reliability of leaching out of the dye by an organic solvent after formation of a pattern can be prevented, and the sensitivity is excellent, so it is preferably in the above range.Alkali soluble resin The colored photosensitive resin composition according to an embodiment of the present invention may include an alkali-soluble resin. When the basic soluble resin is used to form a color pattern using the colored photosensitive resin composition, in order to enhance the solubility of the alkaline developing solution used in the processing step, it is preferred to prepare a copolymerized ethylenically unsaturated monomer containing a carboxyl group and prepare the same. . Specific examples of the ethylenically unsaturated monomer containing the carboxyl group are as follows, but are not limited thereto. Monocarboxylic acids such as acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and crotonic acid; dicarboxylic acids such as fumaric acid, mesaconic acid, and fumaric acid; and anhydrides of these dicarboxylic acids; ω-carboxy polycaprolactone mono (methyl ) Monoacrylate (meth) acrylates are polymers with carboxyl groups and hydroxyl groups at both ends, such as acrylates. Among them, acrylic acid and methacrylic acid are preferred. Specific examples of the unsaturated monomer capable of being copolymerized are as follows, but not limited thereto. Unsaturated monomers containing glycidyl methyl glycidyl acrylate; methyl 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate, methyl 2-hydroxypropyl acrylate, methyl 4-hydroxybutyl acrylate, 2-hydroxy-3-benzene Hydroxy ethylenically unsaturated monomers such as methyl hydroxypropyl acrylate, N-hydroxyethyl acrylamide, and methyl hydroxyethyl acrylate; styrene, vinyl toluene, α-methylstyrene, p -Chlorostyrene, o-methoxystyrene, m-methoxystyrene, p-methoxystyrene, o-vinylbenzyl methyl ether, m-vinylbenzyl methyl ether, p -Vinyl benzyl methyl ether, o-vinyl benzyl glycidyl ether, m-vinyl benzyl glycidyl ether, p-vinyl benzyl glycidyl ether, etc. aromatic vinyl compounds; N -Cyclohexylmaleimide, N-benzylmaleimide, N-phenylmaleimide, No-hydroxyphenylmaleimide, Nm-hydroxyphenylmaleimide , Np-hydroxyphenylmaleimide, No-methylphenylmaleimide, Nm-methylphenylmaleimide, Np-methylphenylmaleimide, No- Methoxyphenylmaleimide, Nm-methoxyphenylmaleimide N-substituted maleimide imines such as imine, Np-methoxyphenylmaleimide, etc .; methyl methacrylate, methyl ethacrylate, n-propyl methyl acrylate, i-propyl Methyl methacrylate, n-butyl methacrylate, i-butyl methacrylate, sec-butyl methacrylate, t-butyl methacrylate and other alkyl methacrylates; cyclopentyl methacrylate Ester, cyclohexyl methyl acrylate, 2-methyl cyclohexyl methyl acrylate, tricyclo [5.2.1.02,6] dec-8-yl methacrylate, 2-dicyclopentyloxyethyl acrylate, isopropyl Cycloaliphatic methyl acrylates such as methylbornyl acrylate; aryl methyl acrylates such as phenyl methyl acrylate and methyl benzyl acrylate; 3- (methacrylic acid oxomethyl) oxetane , 3- (methacrylic acid oxomethyl) -3-ethyloxetane, 3- (methacrylic acid oxomethyl) -2-trifluoromethyloxetane, 3- ( Methacryloxymethyl) -2-phenyloxetane, 2- (methacryloxymethyl) oxetane, 2- (methacryloxymethyl) -4- Unsaturated oxetane compounds such as trifluoromethyloxetane, but not Limited to this. These compounds may be used alone or in combination of two or more. The basic soluble resin (D) may have an acid value of 30 to 150 mgKOH / g, preferably 40 to 140 mgKOH / g, and more preferably 50 to 135 mgKOH / g. When the acid value is lower than the above range, it is difficult for the colored photosensitive resin composition to ensure a sufficient development speed; when the acid value is outside the above range, the adhesion to the substrate is reduced, causing a problem of pattern short circuit. Here, the acid value refers to a measurement value of the amount of potassium hydroxide (mg) required for copolymerizing 1 g of an acrylic copolymer, and is usually obtained by titration with an aqueous potassium hydroxide solution. The alkaline soluble resin contains 10 to 80% by weight relative to 100% by weight of the total solids content in the colored photosensitive resin composition; preferably 10 to 70% by weight. When the alkaline soluble resin satisfies the above-mentioned content range, the developing solution has sufficient solubility and is easy to form a pattern, which can prevent a reduction in the film of the pixel portion of the exposed portion during development and improve the omission of the non-pixel portion.Photopolymerizable compound The colored photosensitive resin composition according to an embodiment of the present invention may further include a photopolymerizable compound. This photopolymerizable compound is a compound capable of polymerizing with living radicals, acids, and the like generated from a photopolymerization initiator described later by irradiation with light. The "photopolymerizable compound" in this specification refers to a monomer having one or more functional groups, and is described as monofunctional, bifunctional, polyfunctional (monomers having three or more functional groups) polymerizable according to the number of functional groups. Compounds etc. Specific examples of the monofunctional polymerizable compound include nonylphenyl ether acrylate, 2-hydroxy-3-phenoxypropyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl ether acrylate, and 2-hydroxyethyl acrylic acid. This photopolymerizable compound contains 5 to 45% by weight, specifically 7 to 45% by weight, based on 100% by weight of the total solids content in the colored photosensitive resin composition containing the same. When the content of the photopolymerizable compound satisfies the above range, the hardness or smoothness of the pixel portion is good.Photopolymerization initiator The colored photosensitive resin composition according to an embodiment of the present invention may further include a photopolymerization initiator. The commercially available oxime ester photopolymerization initiators are: Irgacure® OXE 01, Irgacure® OXE 02, Irgacure® OXE 03, etc. from BASF. Because each initiator has a variety of absorbances and free radicals, it is better to use more than two kinds. The oxime ester-based photopolymerization initiator may contain 0 to 100% by weight, and specifically 20 to 100% by weight, relative to the total amount of the photopolymerization initiator containing the oxime ester-based photopolymerization initiator. When the content of the oxime ester-based photopolymerization initiator is lower than the above range, it is not possible to overcome the decrease in sensitivity caused by the dyes included in the oxime ester-based photopolymerization initiator, and the pattern may be short-circuited during the development process. The colored photosensitive resin composition may contain a photopolymerization initiator other than the oxime ester-based photopolymerization initiator. At this time, as long as the photopolymerization initiator other than the oxime ester-based photopolymerization initiator is capable of polymerizing the basic soluble resin and the photopolymerizable compound, the type thereof is not particularly limited.
