Abstract

Provided is an electrical connector for flat conductor capable of bending and processing a metal plate, allowing an easy manufacture, maintaining a stable locking and fastening state at a closed position, and conveniently releasing the locking state. A rotating member (3) and a connector body (2) are respectively provided with a locked part (33D-1) and a locking part (76) that are mutually locked and fastened at the closed position of the rotating member. The rotating member (3) includes: a base part (35) provided with a supported part; a moveable part (33) provided with the locked part (33D-1) and an operation part (33A); and an elastic part (34X) for connecting the base part and the moveable part forward and backward in an elastically deformable manner. With the elastic deformation of the elastic part (34X), the base part and the moveable part can relatively move forward and backward. By rotating the rotating member toward the side of the closed position, a locked sheet (33D) is made to interfere with the locking part (76) of the connector body (2), so as to make it possible for locking and fastening by further rotating the rotating member toward the side of the closed position. Moreover, the operation part is operated toward the elastic deformation direction to release the fastening state of the locked part.
