Abstract

A base structure of lens focusing mechanism and its manufacturing method is disclosed. Firstly, a conductive member is prepared and has at least two conductive portions, a continuous portion and a conductive terminal, and at least one approaching end separated from each other and alternately extended is formed between the conductive portions. Next, an insulating base is formed outside the conductive member by means of plastic injection to encapsulate the conductive portions while exposing the continuous portion, the conductive terminal and the electrode contact. After cutting the continuous portion, an elastic member is mounted on the insulating base and electrically connected to the electrode contact so that the elastic member is electrically connected to the conductive terminal, thus solving the problems of hardly mounting conductive pins and connecting with the elastic member in conventional process. Furthermore, because the insulating base has the conductive member therein, plastic material can be saved, and flatness, stability and anti-damage strength of the base structure can be enhanced.

Description

Base structure of lens focusing mechanism and manufacturing method thereof

The invention relates to a base structure of a lens focusing mechanism and a manufacturing method thereof, in particular to a mechanism for automatically focusing a voice coil motor (VCM) as a miniature camera module, the base structure and the base manufacturing method.

At present, most mobile phones and tablets have built-in camera functions, and the size of mobile phones or tablets is becoming thinner and lighter, so the internal camera module needs to be miniaturized and miniaturized. In order to miniaturize the camera module, the voice coil motor is mostly used as the mechanism of autofocus, as shown in FIG. 1 , which is a perspective view of the base of the conventional voice coil motor focusing mechanism. In FIG. 1 , at least two conductive pins 3 need electrical property. Connect to an external substrate to supply power or control signals to the focus mechanism for focusing.

The current conductive pin is integrally formed by the elastic piece, and the conductive pin and the elastic piece are separately separated. The advantage that the conductive pin and the elastic piece are integrally formed is to ensure the electrical transmission between the conductive pin and the elastic piece. Sex, but the disadvantage is that the conductive pins need to be installed through the base in a manual manner, which is quite inconvenient in the process, and because of the small size, the conductive pins are too Thin, often leading to breakage of the conductive pins during installation.

2 is an exploded perspective view of FIG. 1. The two conductive pins 3 in FIG. 2 are separated from the elastic piece 2. The advantage of this structure is that it is not easy to cause damage to the conductive pins during the process, but the disadvantage is in the process. In the middle, the elastic piece 2 is first mounted on the base 1, and then the two conductive pins 3 are embedded in the slot 4 of the base 1, and the upper end of the conductive pin 3 is connected with the elastic piece 2 and then welded into one body, so that The problem of shrapnel damage is solved, but the disadvantage is that two conductive pins 3 need to be manually installed in the process, and the conductive pins 3 and the shrapnel 2 need to be welded to ensure the electrical connectivity of the two, so that the production cannot be automated.

Since the base of the conventional voice coil motor focusing mechanism is made of plastic, it is often impossible to provide the overall structure due to the physical reliability test (such as drop test, rolling test or anti-destruction test, etc.). Stability and integrity. Therefore, there is still a problem in the base structure of the above-mentioned conventional voice coil motor focusing mechanism, and there are still many problems to be further solved between the elastic piece and the conductive pin.

The main object of the present invention is to provide a base structure of a focusing mechanism that is easy to assemble and can be fully automated, and a manufacturing method thereof, which can solve the problem that the connection between the conductive pin and the elastic piece is not easy, and the plastic of the base can be reduced. The embodiment of the present invention is a pedestal design of a focus mechanism of a voice coil motor lens. First, please refer to FIG. 3 , which is a perspective view of a conductive member according to an embodiment of the present invention. In the embodiment of the present invention, a conductive member 10 is first placed in FIG. 3 . In the embodiment, the conductive member 10 of the present invention comprises two conductive portions 11 and two conductive terminals 13. The two conductive portions 11 are connected between the two conductive portions 11 to form an integrated conductive member 10. However, in another embodiment of the present invention, the conductive member 10 may include more than two conductive portions 11 and a connecting portion 12, as shown in FIG. 4, which is a perspective view of another conductive member embodiment of the present invention. The conductive member 10 includes four. The conductive portion 11 and the four connecting portions 12, but the embodiment of the present invention does not limit the number of the conductive portions and the connecting portions.

In the embodiment of FIG. 3, the two conductive portions 11 are in the form of a flat plate. The conductive portion 11 is integrally formed and extended to form the conductive terminal 13 , and the two conductive terminals 13 and the conductive portion 11 may not be on the same plane, and the conductive terminal 13 is bent as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 . It may be L-shaped or may have other shapes, but the embodiment of the present invention does not limit the shape of the conductive terminal 13. In the embodiment of FIG. 4, the two conductive terminals 13 are formed by integrally forming and extending the two conductive portions 11 respectively, and all the conductive portions 11 are electrically separated from each other, but between each of the two conductive portions 11 Further, the connection unit 12 is connected.

11。 Please refer to FIG. 5 and FIG. 6. FIG. 5 is a schematic view of the conductive member and the insulating base (dashed line) of the present invention; and FIG. 6 is a schematic perspective view of the present invention after forming the insulating base. In the embodiment of Figure 5, the insulating base 20 is a dashed line and the conductive members are solid lines. The insulating base 20 is formed outside the conductive member 10 by plastic injection molding. The insulating base 20 is covered with the conductive portion 11 of the conductive member 10, and the conductive terminal 13, the connecting portion 12 and the electrode contact 14 are exposed. After the injection molding of the insulating base 20 is completed, the connecting portion 12 of the conductive member 10 is cut to electrically separate the conductive portion 11 in the insulating base 20.

Referring to FIG. 3 to FIG. 6 again, in the embodiment of the present invention, the conductive member 10 is further provided with two electrode contacts 14 respectively electrically connected to the conductive terminals 13 through the conductive portion 11, as shown in the figure. In the embodiment of the present invention, the two electrode contacts 14 are respectively disposed on the two conductive portions 11, and the two electrode contacts 14 are respectively disposed on the conductive portion 11 having the conductive terminals 13 as shown in the embodiment of FIG. The two holes 21 are respectively disposed on the insulating base 20, respectively corresponding to the two electrode contacts 14 of the conductive member 10, so that the electrode contacts 14 are exposed outside the insulating base 20 through the broken holes 21.

Referring to FIG. 7 and FIG. 8 , FIG. 7 is an exploded perspective view of an insulating base and an elastic member according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 8 is a schematic perspective view showing the combination of the insulating base and the elastic member according to the present invention. The present invention then mounts an elastic member 30 on the insulating base 20 and is electrically connected to the electrode contact 14 to electrically connect the elastic member 30 and the conductive terminal 13. The elastic member 30 includes a first elastic portion 31, a second elastic portion 32, and a plurality of connecting portions 33, wherein the first elastic portion 31 and the second elastic portion 32 are electrically separated from each other, and the connecting portions 33 are connected to The outer periphery of the first elastic portion 31 and the second elastic portion 32.

The insulating base 20 is further provided with a plurality of positioning posts 22. In the embodiment of FIGS. 7 and 8, the insulating base 20 is square, and the positioning posts 22 are respectively located at two opposite corners of the insulating base 20. The two holes 21 are located at the other two opposite corners, and the elastic member 30 is also provided with two positioning holes 34 and two electrical holes 35. The two positioning holes 34 correspond to the two positioning posts 22 The two electrical contacts 35 correspond to the two electrode contacts 14. When the elastic member 30 is mounted on the insulating base 20, the two positioning holes 34 are respectively embedded in the two positioning posts 22, and the conductive member 10 The two electrode contacts 14 are embedded in the electrical contact holes 21 of the elastic member 30, so that the elastic member 30 can be electrically connected to the conductive member 10. Of course, to ensure electrical connection, the electrode contacts 14 can be electrically connected. The holes 35 are welded or fixed by adhesive.

In the embodiment of FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, the two electrode contacts 14 on the conductive member 10 are formed in a circular convex shape so as to protrude outside the broken hole 21 of the insulating base 20, and the electrical contact hole of the elastic member 30. 21 is rounded so that the electrode contacts can be embedded It enters the electrical contact hole 21 of the elastic member 30. In another embodiment, as shown in FIG. 7 and FIG. 8 , the two electrode contacts 14 on the conductive member 10 are in the shape of a convex column, and can be bent upward from a portion of the conductive member 10 to connect the electrodes. The point 14 protrudes out of the hole 21 of the insulating base 20, and the electrical contact hole 21 of the elastic member 30 is a corresponding through hole, so that the electrode contact 14 can be correspondingly embedded in the electrical hole 21 of the elastic member 30.

When the elastic member 30 is mounted on the insulating base 20, the connecting portions 33 may extend beyond the outer edge of the insulating base 20. The first elastic portion 31 is electrically connected to one of the conductive terminals 13, and the second elastic portion 32 is electrically connected to the other conductive terminal 13 , and finally the connecting portion 35 of the elastic member 30 is cut off, so that the first elastic portion 31 and the second elastic portion 32 can be electrically separated, so that the two conductive terminals 13 The first and second elastic portions of the elastic member 30 can be transmitted to the coil of the voice coil motor (not shown) by the elastic member 30 to drive the voice coil motor to perform autofocus.

As shown in the embodiment of FIG. 9 , it is a partial enlarged view of the embodiment near the end, wherein the connection between the two conductive portions 11 and the connecting portion 12 is formed with a cutting groove 121, and the two conductive portions 11 are The joint of the joint portion 12 is formed with a close end 111 which is separated from each other and staggered. As shown in the embodiment of FIG. 9 , the adjacent ends of the two conductive portions 11 are L-shaped and correspond to the connecting portion 12 . In addition to the L-shaped end 111, the embodiment of FIG. 10 has an S shape corresponding to the end 111, and the end portion 111 of the embodiment of FIG. 11 has a concave-convex shape corresponding to each other, as shown in the embodiment of FIG. Toothed to each other near the end, or other Symmetrical or asymmetrical shape, however, the invention does not limit the shape near the end. It is emphasized by the present invention that the present invention is designed such that the two ends of the conductive portions 11 are separated from each other and are staggered and extended toward the end 111, so that the flatness of the separation portion of the plastic injection molding remains flat without being separated. A depression is formed and the strength of the outer plastic of the conductive portion 11 near the end 111 can be increased.

Referring to FIG. 9 again, after the conductive member 10 is covered with plastic to form the insulating base 20, the cutting groove 121 between the two conductive portions 11 and the connecting portion 12 can be easily broken, and the connecting portion 12 can be easily broken. The external plastic at the junction of the conductive portion 11 and the joint portion 12 is not broken, and the damage resistance of the plastic outside the reinforced base 20 is achieved.

Since the insulating base 20 of the present invention is formed by plastic injection molding outside the conductive member 10, the present invention can be automated in the process of the autofocus mechanism by omitting the step of mounting the conductive terminals, and the insulating base 20 is covered with metal. The conductive member 10 is formed, so that the structure of the entire insulating base 20 can be strengthened, the flatness and stability of the insulating base 20 and the damage resistance of the plastic are increased, and the physical reliability test, such as the drop test and the rolling test, is also performed. Or anti-destructive testing, etc., can ensure the integrity of the base structure of the present invention.
