Abstract

本發明提供一種光電轉換模組,所述光電轉換模組包括一電路板、一光電耦合件、一定位框。所述定位框固定在所述電路板上。所述光電耦合件包括一下表面,所述下表面上形成一第一凹槽,所述第一凹槽的形狀與所述定位框一致且所述第一凹槽的尺寸稍大於所述定位框的尺寸,所述第一凹槽套住所述定位框。

Description

光電轉換模組
本發明涉及一種轉換模組,尤其涉及一種光電轉換模組。
光電轉換模組用於將光訊號發射裝置與光纖之間或者光纖與光訊號接收裝置之間進行連接,實現光訊號之耦合以及光訊號與電訊號之間之相互轉換。先前之光電轉換模組一般包括一電路板、設置在電路板上之光電二極體(photodiode)及一光電耦合件。所述光電耦合件之底部對應所述光電二極體位置設置有耦合透鏡。在光電轉換模組封裝製程中,使所述光電耦合件之耦合透鏡對準光電二極體,然後所述光電耦合件再藉由外側點膠固化於電路板上。由於光電轉換模組之對位精度要求很高,而所述光電二極體和耦合透鏡的尺寸都很小,使得組裝人員在將光電二極體和耦合透鏡對準的過程中需耗費許多時間,從而降低了組裝效率。
有鑒於此,有必要提供一種能夠提高組裝效率之光電轉換模組。
一種光電轉換模組,所述光電轉換模組包括一電路板、一光電耦合件、一定位框。所述定位框固定在所述電路板上。所述光電耦合件包括一下表面,所述下表面上形成一第一凹槽,所述第一凹槽的形狀與所述定位框一致且所述第一凹槽的尺寸稍大於所述定位框的尺寸,所述第一凹槽套住所述定位框。
相對於先前技術,所述光電耦合件和所述電路板利用所述定位框及所述第一凹槽的配合來彼此對準,從而可縮短對準的時間,大大提高組裝效率。
下面將結合附圖與實施例對本技術方案作進一步詳細說明。
請一併參閱圖1至圖4,本發明實施方式提供之光電轉換模組100,其用於光纖傳輸。光電轉換模組100包括一電路板10、一定位框15及一光電耦合件20。
電路板10包括一承載面101。承載面101上設置有光電元件104。光電元件104可以為光訊號發射元件或者光訊號接收元件。光訊號發射元件可以為鐳射二極體(laser diode),光訊號接收元件可以為光電二極體(photodiode)。
定位框15大致呈方形,並開設有一貫穿之開口153。定位框15設置於電路板10之承載面101上,光電元件104位於開口153中。在本實施方式中,定位框15與電路板10一體成型。在其他實施方式中,也可以通過分別在電路板10和定位框15上設置互相配合的定位孔及定位柱的方式,將定位框15固定於電路板10上。
光電耦合件20包括一端面21、一上表面22、以及一與上表面22相背之下表面23。上表面22與下表面23相互平行並且均與端面21垂直相連。
下表面23為階梯面,其上開設有一個第一凹槽231,第一凹槽231的形狀與定位框15一致,第一凹槽231的尺寸稍大於定位框15的尺寸。第一凹槽231底部設置有對應於光電元件104之第一耦合透鏡28。第一耦合透鏡28為凸透鏡並且與第一凹槽231之底部一體成型設置。
上表面22上開設有一個第二凹槽221。第二凹槽221包括一個平行於上表面22之槽平面2210及一個與槽平面2210呈45度夾角設置之斜面2211。第一耦合透鏡28之光軸垂直於槽平面2210且與斜面2211呈45度夾角。
端面21上延伸有一對定位凸柱210,同時開設有一插槽211。插槽211底部設置有第二耦合透鏡26。第二耦合透鏡26對應一光纖(圖未示)。本實施方式中,第二耦合透鏡26之光軸與斜面2211之夾角為45度且與第一耦合透鏡28之光軸相交於斜面2211上。本實施方式中,第二耦合透鏡26為凸透鏡,並且一體成型於插槽211之底部。
組裝時,將光電耦合件20置於電路板10之承載面101上,第一凹槽231套住定位框15。此時光電元件104與第一耦合透鏡28已大致對準。接著,再通過位置微調使得光電元件104與第一耦合透鏡28精確對準,然後通過在光電耦合件20的周緣點膠,將光電耦合件20固定于電路板10上。
本發明使用相互配合的定位框15與第一凹槽231來大致對準光電元件104與第一耦合透鏡28,從而節約了組裝時間,提高了組裝效率。另外,定位框15還可以防止點膠時膠水污染光電元件104。
使用時,光電元件104發射之光信號,經第一耦合透鏡28照射至斜面2211。斜面2211用於將照射在斜面2211之光訊號反射以使將經過第一耦合透鏡28光訊號偏折90度至對應之第二耦合透鏡26,並經對應之第二耦合透鏡26進入對應之一根光纖(圖未示)。
綜上所述,本發明確已符合發明專利之要件,遂依法提出專利申請。惟,以上所述者僅為本發明之較佳實施方式,自不能以此限制本案之申請專利範圍。舉凡熟悉本案技藝之人士援依本發明之精神所作之等效修飾或變化,皆應涵蓋於以下申請專利範圍內。

Claims (10)

  1. 一種光電轉換模組,所述光電轉換模組包括一電路板及一光電耦合件,其改進在於:所述光電轉換模組還一步包括一定位框,所述定位框固定在所述電路板上,所述光電耦合件包括一下表面,所述下表面上形成一第一凹槽,所述第一凹槽的形狀與所述定位框一致且所述第一凹槽的尺寸稍大於所述定位框的尺寸,所述第一凹槽套住所述定位框。
  2. 如請求項1所述之光電轉換模組,其中:所述電路板包括一承載面,所述定位框固定於所述承載面上。
  3. 如請求項1所述之光電轉換模組,其中:所述光電轉換模組還包括一光電元件,所述光電元件固定於所述電路板上。
  4. 如請求項3所述之光電轉換模組,其中:所述定位框開設有一貫穿開口,所述光電元件位於所述貫穿開口內。
  5. 如請求項3所述之光電轉換模組,其中:所述光電耦合件還包括一第一耦合透鏡,所述第一耦合透鏡與所述光電元件對準,所述第一耦合透鏡位於所述第一凹槽內。
  6. 如請求項5所述之光電轉換模組,其中:所述光電耦合件進一步包括一端面以及一個與所述下表面相背離之上表面,所述上表面與所述下表面相互平行並且均與所述端面垂直相連,所述端面上延伸有一對定位凸柱。
  7. 如請求項6所述之光電轉換模組,其中:所述端面上開設有一插槽,所述插槽的底部設置有第二耦合透鏡。
  8. 如請求項7所述之光電轉換模組,其中:所述第二耦合透鏡為凸透鏡,並且一體成型於所述插槽的底部。
  9. 如請求項7所述之光電轉換模組,其中:所述上表面上開設有一個第二凹槽,所述第一凹槽包括一個平行於所述上表面之槽平面及一個與所述槽平面成45度夾角設置之斜面,所述第一耦合透鏡之光軸垂直於所述槽平面且與所述斜面成45度夾角。
  10. 如請求項9所述之光電轉換模組,其中:所述第二耦合透鏡之光軸與所述斜面之夾角均45度,且與第一耦合透鏡之光軸相交於所述斜面上。
