Abstract

A resin layer (6) is disposed on the obverse face of a substrate (2) in a state of sealing a light emitting element (3), etc. A light path conversion part (10) is disposed on the resin layer (6) in a location which covers the light emitting element (3). An anchoring mechanism (7) for attaching an optical fiber (13) in the vicinity of the light path conversion part (10) via a plug (11) is disposed on the resin layer (6). The anchoring mechanism (7) further comprises a fitting depression (8) wherein the plug (11) is mounted, and a hooking part (9) which hooks the plug (11). Then, when the light emitting element (3) outputs an optical signal in the thickness direction of the substrate (2), the light path conversion part (10) converts the progress direction of the optical signal 90 degrees, reflecting same in the horizontal direction. The reflected optical signal is collected in an end face (13A) of the optical fiber (13) by a lens (11C) of the plug (11).
