Abstract
The invention relates to a light-diffusing sheet and optical sheet for a backlight unit, and, more particularly, to a light-diffusing sheet and optical sheet for a backlight unit whose luminance and masking capability are improved by maximizing a refraction and diffraction property of light. To this end, the invention is characterized in that the light-diffusing sheet for a backlight unit according to the invention comprises a substrate film, a light-diffusing layer applied on at least one side of the substrate film as an application liquid comprising a binder resin and particles, and a thin film layer applied on the light-diffusing layer by mixing at least one binder resin with a refractive index different from an index of the binder resin of the light-diffusing layer. Preferably, the invention is characterized in that a refractive index of the binder resin forming the thin film layer is between 1.30 and 1.80, and is greater than an index of the binder resin of the light-diffusing layer.
