Abstract
The object of present invention is to provide a X ray generating device in which the X ray tube can firmly secured within the protective case. In the state that the output window holding portion 12 of the X ray tube 8 is inserted into the opening 26 of the front panel 5, a fixing nut 30 is threaded into the X ray generating device 1 in such a way that a outer thread portion 30a of the fixing but 30 is engaged with a female thread portion 29 formed on the wall surface of the opening 26. After the fixing nut is sufficiently threaded, a flange portion 18 provided on the output window holding portion 12 of the X ray tube 8 abuts against a projecting portion 27 provided on the front panel 5, so that the flange portion 18 will press against said projecting portion 27 by the fixing but 30, so as to fix the X ray tube 8 on the front panel 5. In addition, the heat conduction from the output window holding portion 12 of the X ray tube 8 to the front panel 5 can be increase by the use of the heat-conductive fixing nut 30. Therefore, the heat of the X ray tube 8 is easily dissipated, so that this will enables the maintaining of generating efficiency of X ray and the protection from the damage of the X ray tube 8.
