Abstract
The object of present invention is to provide an alignment layer having excellent alignment property and less coloration. A photo-alignment material is a composition includes a component A which is at least one of polymer having photo-alignment property, a component B which is at least one of polymer having a temperature range of liquid crystal between 100 DEG C to 300 DEG C, and a solvent. The percentage of component A is 10wt% to 90wt% based on the total weight of component A and component B. The percentage of solvent is 70wt % to 99. 9wt % based on the total amount of the composition. The preferred example of the component A is at least one of the polyamic acid or polyimide which has an exposure group as shown in formula (I) to formula (V) and formula (X) by the main chain, and the preferred example of the component B is at least one of the polyamic acid or polyimide which has liquid crystal characteristics and linear chain alkylene structure of 6-20 number of the carbon on the main chain. R1, R2 and R3 are aromatic bivalent groups.
