200936937 六、發明說明: 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本案係關於節曰裝飾用之燈串。 【先前技術】
典型燈串由複數燈泡組成,以串聯或並聯之電氣方式接 線在一起。燈串一端有電氣插頭,適於插入牆壁插座或其中 電源’另一端插座適於容納第二燈串之插頭,以便輸送電至 ,二燈串。大多數燈串以家用交流電操作。近來,有些燈串 是以置於插頭或插座内之整流器產生之直流電操作,例如本 申請人在美國專利第5,777,868 ; 5,994,845和6,869,313號所 揭示,於此列入參考。此等燈串用電少,在較低溫’操作(故 較依賴交流電的習用燈串經濟,且失火情形少。位於插頭内 的整流器優點是,只需二金屬線,即可帶電至燈串之燈泡。 惟此種直流燈串會輸送直流電至燈串另一端之插座,故次一 燈串必須也以直流電操作。 把整流器置入插座内的優點是,插座可輸送交流電至次 一燈串,並輸送直流電至第一串之電燈。可惜此項配置需額 外金屬線。 每年生產燈串有數億組之多,涉及成本為燈串廠家的重 大焦點’尤其是在材料成本上漲時。即使單_燈串的遞增材 料戈勞力成本很少,但維持成本低,或藉減少材料和 量,積少成多,便相當可觀。 另外,燈串之燈由白熾燈泡,改用發光二極體(LED 者乂來愈多。LED用電比傳統白雕更少,發生的熱更微。 LED不像白舰泡’是單向通電流,故僅限於細直流電。 因此,仍需製造安全、用電少,又能產生所需裝飾效 果’且維持生產成本低之燈串。 【發明内容】 按照簡述之主要層面’本發明係一種LED燈串,以直流 200936937 電供電,燈串同時又把錢電通職座。本發串採用全 波整流電橋,產生供電LED所需之直流電,但電橋分成第一 部巧在燈串一端之插頭内,第二部份在另一端之插座内,整 流器有一個二極體在插頭内,另二個二極體在插座内。 分裂電橋式紐H之優點是’料電路把紐電輸送至 插座’直流電至負載’但比在插座内有整流器之LED燈串所 需導電金屬線少’因為輸送AC至插座所用金屬線,可 電橋之一部份。 ^
在另類較佳具體例中,本發明燈串之燈泡是LED,以成 串LED^組群形成串聯/並聯造型加以配置,各組群有三個 LED電氣並聯,而各組群以電氣串聯配置。 上述及其他特點和優點,凡精於電氣燈串技藝之專家, 詳閱以下參照附圖所述較佳具體例之詳細說明,即可 【實施方式】 本發明燈串可用於假日裝飾。本燈串最好使用發光二極 體(LED) ’而非白熾燈,在一組有二或以上LED並聯配置 (意即一或以上LEE彼此呈電氣以相同極性並聯配置)内, LED是串聯配置形成一組群,再將多組群彼此電氣串聯配 置。更好是,使用此串聯/並聯配置時,半導體裝置亦與各 組群,聯,在該組群内之LED燒毀或失落時,可調整電壓'。 茲參見第1圖,在燈串1〇 —端是插頭12,適於連接至 交流(AC)電源,諸如牆壁插座。在燈串1〇另一端是插座 14,於插頭12連接至輸送AC至插頭12之踏壁插座時,適 於輸送AC至次一燈串。插頭12和插座14之間連接複數 LED 16。熔線18可用於非極化插頭。 直流(DC)電利用二部份組成的電橋式整流器,輸送至 燈串10之LED 16。第一部份20接至燈串10的第一端,第 二部份22接至燈串10對立之第二端。最好是把第一部份加 入插頭12内’第二部份22加入插座14内。 整流器之第一和第二部份20,22,各有二個二極體。對全 4 200936937 而言,插頭12内之一個二極體30和插座14内之-個 H32」在第―半週期内通電流經led 16;而插頭12内 ^ 一固一極體34和插座14内之第二個二極體36,在第二 半=内通電流經LED 16。把AC從插頭12通至插座14^
