Abstract

This invention discloses a lamination apparatus of liquid crystal panel and a lamination method of lamination of a liquid crystal panel. This invention is to irradiate light onto a panel though a mask to laminate two substrates for the lamination of liquid crystal panel. Even if the alignment mark of the mask is the same shape as the alignment mask of the panel, the position alignment of the mask and the panel can be achieved. According to the invented lamination method of the liquid crystal panel, the position of the alignment microscope is made not to move along the XYθ direction but the alignment mark of the mask and the alignment mark of the to-be-laminated panel are to be detected at different time. Therefore, the mask and the panel are relatively moved based on a predetermined position relationship formed by the detected two alignment marks.
