Abstract

For helping users who have only one functional hand to put on socks independently at home and during traveling, an adjustable, retractable and portable assisting device was invented. It comprises a set of connecting rods, which can be adjusted according to the user's foot width. On at least two of its lower ends there are protrusions, to which the entrance part of a sock is hung on and widened. There are strings over its side part and upper part to hold itself to a fixed frame, which usually is a chair with four legs. Thus, the user needs not to use hand to hold the device or the socks during socks putting-on process. It is convenient to use it at home, during traveling, and at hotel. This socks-putting-on assisting device has not only new structure, but also improvements over the devices before in its unilateral-manipulation demand, its retractability, and easily carrying.
