Abstract

A dielectric barrier discharge lamp including a lamp body, a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and discharge gas is provided. The first electrode plate is disposed on the lamp body and has first light openings with regular and equidistant arrangement. The second electrode plate is disposed on the lamp body and is electrically insulated from the first electrode plate. The discharge gas is filled within the lamp body and between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate. When a bias voltage is provided between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate, a plurality of discharging filaments with equidistant arrangement are generated in the lamp body. All of the filaments are covered by the first electrode plate. The luminescence efficiency of the dielectric barrier discharge lamp can be enhanced by the above-mentioned first electrode plate.
