Abstract

An object of this invention is to provide an electric cooking stove which can prevent a reduction in the reflective efficiency of the heat ray on a mirror section. The electric cooking stove 10 includes an electric heating element 64 disposed out of a position immediately below an object to be heated, mirror sections 20, 58 and 42 for gathering the heat rays radiated from the electric heating element 64 towards the lower side of the object to be heated 130, and a temperature controlling means for controlling the temperature of the mirror sections 20 and 42 to prevent the mirror sections from being overheated. The temperature controlling means includes duct sections 30, 48 and 66 disposed on one side of mirror sections 20 and 42 which is opposite from the side to which the heat rays are radiated, and a air blower 40 for carrying cooling air to the duct section 30 for controlling the temperature of the mirror section 20, and a air blower 98 for carrying cooling air to the duct sections 48 and 66 for controlling the temperature of the mirror section 42. A temperature detecting section is disposed in the mirror sections 20 and 42. The air blowers 40 and 98 are adequately controlled by a detection signal from the temperature detecting section, thus the temperature of the mirror sections 20 and 42 is controlled.
