Abstract
A Al-doped zinc oxide (AZO) transparent conducting film with metallic nano particles and method of producing thereof are provided. The method of producing said transparent conducting film includes adding a metal precursor into a alcohol-contained reaction solution which is used to form AZO by means of sol-gel method. According to the reduction of alcohols, metallic nano particles can be formed simultaneously with the formation of a AZO sol-gel, whereby producing a AZO gel solution with metallic nano particles. After coating the AZO gel solution to be a film, suitable thermal process is performed to the film. The AZO transparent conducting film with metallic nano particles has a light transmittance more than 85% at the range of visible light, and it has a resistivity less than 2x10<SP>-3</SP> Ω*cm.
