Abstract
This invention is to provide a driving mechanism of an electric bicycle, the driving mechanism comprising a motor transmission, a front chain wheel and a pedal transmission, wherein the motor transmission comprises a casing, a permanent magnet, an electromagnetic coil, and a hollow shaft provided from outside inward in sequence; the front chain wheel is fixedly provided with a transmission sleeve which the transmission sleeve extends into the inside of the hollow shaft, and a first unidirectional transmission is provided between the hollow shaft and the transmission sleeve; the pedal transmission comprises a pedal rotating shaft and a pair of pedal cranks, the pedal rotating shaft passing through the transmission sleeve and the hollow shaft, and a second unidirectional transmission being provided between the transmission sleeve and the pedal rotating shaft; further, the first and the second unidirectional transmission are oppositely disposed, making both the motor transmission and pedal transmission can drive the transmission sleeve and front chain wheel in the same direction, so as to have the characteristics and efficacies of having simple structure, reducing occupied space, reducing production cost, balancing left and right weight and lowering the center of gravity of vehicle body, and being able to utilize the derailleur function, thereby saving electric power, enhancing torsion, and increasing climbing power.
