Abstract
A ventilator comprising an indirect evaporative cooling function and a ventilating function and installable in a dwelling house. The ventilator (501A) comprises an air supply flow passage (9A) extending from an outside air intake port (5) to an air supply blow port (6) through an air supply fan (2) and a product air flow passage (11b) of an indirect evaporative cooling unit (4A) and an air discharge flow passage (10A) extending from a recirculating air intake port (7) to an air blow port (8) through a working air flow passage (11a) of the indirect evaporative cooling unit (4A) and an air discharge fan (3). The air supply flow passage (9A) comprises an air supply flow regulating damper (14) and the air discharge flow passage (10A) comprises a discharge air flow regulating damper (15). The flow of at least one of the working air and the product air is regulated so as to control the temperature of air supply from the air supply blow port (6). The circulating air flow from the circulating air intake port (7) and the air supply flow from the air supply blow port (6) are regulated so that the air in a building can be replaced within a predetermined time.
