Abstract
A wind power drive mechanism has a concentric supporter and a rail. A pivotal shaft (2) is pivotally installed on the top of the supporter. The multiple blade holders that can be rotated along the rail by the natural wind power are fixed and assembled on the pivotal shaft. A blade opening is disposed on the blades on the blade holders. The blade opening is covered by a blade cover capable of being opened, and the blade cover is connected with a cylinder. Under the instant fierce wind, either the blade cover is pushed away to form the opening to reduce the wind resistance or the blade cover is pushed away by the control of the cylinder to exhaust the wind to reduce wind resistance to stop the mechanism operation. Besides, the one-way ventilation holes are formed on the blades and blade covers. On the upwind face, the one-way ventilation holes are blocked to increase the wind resistance to rotate the mechanism all out. On the downwind face, the one-way ventilation holes are opened to exhaust the wind through the one-way ventilation holes to reduce the wind resistance of the blades on the downwind face. Besides, the tower stand is installed on the pivotal shaft, and winding devices with the quantity corresponding to that of the blade holders are installed on the tower stand to tense and stretch the blade holders to balance the load of each blade holder.
