Abstract
The the chemical composition of the high Zirconia cast refractory materials of this invention comprises a 87 - 94 % of the weight of ZrO2, a 1.2-3.0 % of the weight of Al2O3, a 3.0-8.0 weight % of SiO2 an exceed 0.35 weight % lower than 1.0 weight % of Na2O, an exceeds 0.02 weight % but lowerthan 0.05 weight % of B2O3. The weight ratio of Al2O3 to Na2O is 2.5-5.0. The refractory materials doesn't contain P2O5 and CuO essentially, It does not gives out ZrSiO4 even being heated to 1500℃ for 1 hour. The refractory is substantially having good thermal stability. It is stable even under the circumstances of heating process. It also gives lower foaming characteristics to all kinds of molten glasses.
