Abstract
To control independently each light of different wavelength emitted out of high-luminance complex discharge lamp, to irradiate objects in the same direction and to downsize the irradiating apparatus. The first transparent dielectric tube and the second transparent dielectric tube construct two independent discharging rooms. One room is filled with discharging illuminant medium A and the other room is filled with discharging illuminant medium, different plasma state is formed in each room and different light is emitted out of each room. Electric power of high frequency is applied between the common electrode and the electrode independently to excite each of discharging illuminant media independently to radiate light. The lights of different wavelength emit in the same direction through the transparent dielectric tubes.
