Abstract

The present invention provides a field emission device that includes a holder, conductive electric serosity, and at least a carbon nanotube (CNT) yarn. The CNT yarn is fixed on the holder. A method for making the field emission device is also provided. A CNT yarn is fixed on the holder by adhering and sintering with conductive serosity. The method is simple, and the adherence of the CNT yarn and the holder is firm.
