Abstract

The invention relates to a heat pipe element with a capillary structure of different-sized holes in multiple stages. The capillary structure of the denser and smaller holes is used in the area of heavy heat load. The rest area of the heat pipe element has the capillary structure of looser and bigger holes so that the liquid working fluid can flow through the capillary structure of bigger holes and decrease the flow resistance of reflux. If necessary, a slot with the proper capillary structure can be set to further reduce the flow resistance. This invention can reduce the pressure loss in the capillary flow inside the heat pipe element can improve the heat exchange rate without adjusting the capillary effect or changing the size of the heat pipe.
