Abstract
The present invention provides a carbon dioxide refining method that can efficiently pre-refine carbon dioxide. The refining method is generating steam by suppressing the reduction of overoxygen as much as possible even when the oxidation reaction of the carbon oxide and the reduction reaction of the oxide of nitrogen are done at the same time in a reactive tower. The refining method includes the following steps. The mixed gas of which the principal ingredient is carbon dioxide is introduced into a reactive tower 16. The nitrogen oxide and the carbon oxide of the mixed gas are removed respectively by using a reduction reaction with hydrogen and a oxidation reaction with oxygen. The reaction condition in the reactive tower is set in a way that the unreactive gas remains in the gas introduced from the exit of the reactive tower.
