Abstract

A method of regenerate and reuse waste liquid crystal glass is disclosed. In this method the compositions of cement and concrete are provided. The cement composition contains 50 to 99 weight percent cement and 1 to 50 weight percent waste liquid crystal glass powder which contains 0.05 to 4.0 weight percent basic metal oxides. The waste liquid crystal glass powder has a specific surface ratio of 2500 to 7000 cm<SP>2</SP>/g. The concrete mixture contains 5 to 50 weight percent cement and 1 to 15 weight percent waste liquid crystal glass powder which contains 0.05 to 4.0 weight percent basic metal oxides, 30 to 60 weight percent grounded stone and 10 to 60 weight percent sands. The particle diameter of above mentioned waste liquid crystal glass powder is less than 4.75 mm. The cement and concrete compositions of this invention indicates that sand or cement in the composition can be substituted by waste liquid crystal glass powder to meet environmental requirements and also to reduce cost.
