Abstract
To provide a manufacturing method for a wire-like copper base material capable of enhancing the productivity and the quality, enhancing the handling property by winding a large diameter wire-like copper base material of the wire diameter of ≥ 25 mm in a coil which has been poor in handling property and productivity, and considerably enhancing the productivity and the quality of the wire-like copper base material, and a winding device therefor. The winding device to continuously wind a wire-like copper base material led from a continuous casting machine and rolled in a rolling step in a coil, comprises a cooling reduction tank 10 storing reducing solution of the amount in which the wire-like copper base material can be immersed, and a winding reel part 20 arranged in the cooling reduction tank 10.
