Lens object lens socket 9 comprises base 70 disposed at the front end of the lens body 26 of the object lens 21; and movable element 80 disposed at the fixed immersed lens holder 8 which is slid and oriented toward the direction of optical axis L of the object lens at base 70; disposing the fixed immersed lens holder in front of the object lens. In the present configuration, the fixed immersed lens holder can be suitably disposed in the front of the object lens. Furthermore, the fixed immersed lens of the fixed immersed lens holder can be moved toward the direction of the optical axis L. Consequently, the fixed immersed lens 6 can connect closely with the observed object 11 easily. Therefore, an object lens socket for connecting fixed immersed lens with the observed object closely can be accomplished in a simple configuration.
