The resolution of LCD equipped with the protection film will not deteriorate while continuously used under high temperature or high temperature/humidity and even under low temperature for a long time. Such protection film of polarizing plate is characterized by that transparency ratio is lower than 10% at the wavelength of 380 nm and transparency ratio is higher than 91% at the wavelength of 450 nm. The protection film also satisfy at least one of the following condition A, B, and C. Condition A: the changing amplitude of transparency ratio of protection film is 80% to 120% under the condition of 80 DEG C of temperature and 90%RH of humidity for 200 hrs. Condition B: the changing amplitude of transparency ratio of protection film is 90% to 110% under the dry condition 105 DEG C of temperature for 200 hrs. Condition C: the changing amplitude of transparency ratio of protection film is 90% to 110% under –50 DEG C of temperature for 200 hrs.
