Abstract

The present invention relates to an alternating-current voltage control device for accomplishing control of output voltage by a simple means without increasing the capacity of equipment in an alternating-current voltage control device. In the device, one end and the other end of an auto-transformer TR1 with an intermediate tap are connected in parallel with single-phase, two-wire input ends R1 and S1. The input end S1 and an output end S2 are connected with each other through a conductor. The control unit is provided with: a transformer TR2 having primary winding P one end of which is connected to the one end of the auto-transformer TR1 and secondary winding S magnetically coupled with the primary winding P and connected between the input end S1 and the output end R2; and a switch SW1 that switches the destination of connection of the other end of the primary winding P to any of the one end, tap, and other end of the auto-transformer TR1.
