Abstract

A hot-dip galvanized steel sheet comprising, a steel sheet containing 0.1 to 3.0 mass % of Si, hot-dip galvanized coating, and a thickened layer, containing a Si-contained oxide of 0.01 to 100 μm thick, composed of at least one element selected from the group consisting of S, C, Cl, Na, K, B, P, F and N, linking the steel sheet and the hot-dip galvanized coating. Even though a base steel sheet containing a large amount of Si is used, the hot-dip galvanized steel sheet is free of non-plating and has excellent exterior appearance, and in addition, coating adherence and sliding property. Further, a galvannealed steel sheet obtained by alloying the hot-dip galvanized steel sheet has superior resistance to powdering also.
