Abstract

The present invention provides a dyeing process for dyeing a crosslinked acrylate-based fiber which could not be dyed with durability hereintobefore. The dyeing process utilizes a reactive dye to provide it with practical durability without deteriorating the properties such as the moisture absorption and release and deodorizing properties. The dyeing process for dyeing a crosslinked acrylate-based fiber is characterized in that the crosslinked acrylate-based fiber obtained by introducing cross linkage into an acrylate-based fiber through a hydrazine-based compound and subjecting it to a hydrolysis treatment with an aqueous alkali metal salt solution, is treated with a reactive dye under acidic condition and optionally then treated under alkali condition.
