Abstract

This invention provides a method for preparing a polarizing film comprising the following steps: using a dichroic dye to treat the polyvinyl alcoholic membrane for dyeing treatment, then treating with boric acid for cross-linking treatment, and performing the cross-linking treatment in boric aqueous solution, by adjusting the pH of the boric aqueous solution to 4 or lower. This invention also provides a polarizer and an optical laminate using said polarizing film.
