This invention is to shorten the time required for heating a stamper of a thermal transfer press device. In relation to a mold formed in at least one of a lower case (11) and an upper case (12), a thermal transfer press comprises a base (21), a stamper (27) for transferring a pattern to a working object (2), a temperature control plate (3) having a passage (31) in the inside of which a fluid flows and installed between the base (21) and the stamper (27) for holding the stamper (27) and heating and cooling the stamper (27), a high-temperature fluid circulation unit (41) for allowing the high-temperature fluid to flow into the passage (31) at the time of heating the stamper (27), and a low-temperature fluid circulation unit (43) for allowing the low-temperature fluid to flow into the passage (31) at the time of cooling the stamper (27).
