Abstract
The present invention relates to a machining method and machining apparatus targeting at reducing production cost of work piece, which generates operation condition of pre-determined tools and threshold value used to determine if a tool can be operated by judging the operation history of the tool for machining, carries out to machine in accordance with the operation condition, and switches the tool whose operation history has reached the mentioned threshold value. The process cycle up to the threshold value is divided into a plurality of ranges, and the operation condition of each respective divided range is decided accordingly. In accordance with the operation history of a tool, each operation condition of the tool in excess of the mentioned range is modified in parallel with the machining. When the operation status of the tool reaches the mentioned threshold value, the tool can be replaced by other tool.
