Abstract
A current limitter has two permanent magnets spaced apart which are magnetized by two cores having a coil wound therearound. Two permanent magnets spaced apart from each other are bonded between a pair of cores to form a closed magnetic circuit, the cores having a coil wound therearound such that a saturated flux passes and circulates through the cores. A non magnetically permeable spacer made of non magnetically permeable material is disposed between the two permanent magnets to support a magnetic attraction force exerting on the permanent magnets to prevent the permanent magnets from moving.
