Abstract

A gas generator (10) for buoyancy bags (42) of water craft in accordance with the high-low-pressure system has a gas-cooling arrangement comprising wire baskets (30) arranged at spacing from each other. The wire baskets (30) are filled with granular material (32) for endothermic reaction with the propellant charge gas.
